Without his love for children where would we be?

You are visiting the memory site for Tennessee Preparatory School, also once known as Tennessee Industrial School.  TIS/TPS was located in Nashville, Tennessee and owned by the State of Tennessee.  The state still owns the campus and is currently leasing some of the buildings and using some of it for other state departments.   As most of you know.....as of December 2002 there are no children left on the campus.   The state has closed the doors to the children but they can't close the doors to our past and our hearts.   Whether you are an alumni, former staff or just a visitor passing through I hope you enjoy the site.  I encourage everyone to read the history of this school.  TIS and TPS had an amazing impact on so many lives.

I encourage all alumni and former staff  from all eras of the school to submit your memories and ideas.  You may do this by sending them to me in an email or signing our guestbook.

I would like to thank the ones who have helped me with the site with your ideas, your extra set of eyes (keeps me straight!), your submissions, and your words of encouragement for the site.  It will take all of us working together to make TIS/TPS Memories a success.
