Back in the Golden Era, Mara was known simply as Amefuri-boshi, Byakko’s Knight of Rain. She and the rest of Byakko’s Knights were very close, and were deeply upset after their dear Lord commited suicide for his lady love. Amefuri and the rest of Byakko’s Knights were sent to the future as a countermesure when the Fates discovered that Nii was far more powerful then previously thought, along with most of the other knights, too. She was born Akisame Ameonna (autumn rain, woman whose presence seems to cause rain), but was given the childish nickname of Keiu (welcome rain). She was from the poor clan of Olphines, but Amefuri did not remember much about her early years, for she had been orphaned and was raised by the previous elderly Amefuri after the age of three. She ultimately succeeded the woman in the post, and served as Amefuri-boshi for many a year. Interestingly enough, Amefuri was older then her Lord by 54 years, but still had the appearance of a 20 year old. Her hair in the past was far longer, falling to her waist, and was more of a darker purple then it is now, almost a lilac (or medium purple) color, falling to her hips and held back by an ornate hair band high above her face. In the past she was calm and collected, and had a great power, even though they took great strength from her to wield them. Powers Furidasu! (to begin to rain) : She yelled this and with both hands held up in the air spins, swirls of silver and blue spreading from her finger tips up into the sky. Rain clouds begin to appear in the sky, and suddenly a storm appears, shedding down first a mist then a down pour of rain. This attack is deeply damaging to her magic levels, and she can only use it once in a great while. In the past she used it to help with crops, and had far more training and could use it more often. Amayami! (break in the rain): She yelled this and raised her arms to the air, shooting twin bolts of silver-blue energy into the sky, which would hold back the rain for a while, generally a half hour. This is the final of the attacks that take a great deal of magical energy from her, and is her most powerful attack- as she is doing far more then manipulating set weather patterns-- she’s denying mother nature. Very powerful indeed ^.^ Weapon Name: Ametaifuu (rain-laden typhoon) Harpoon- This was her weapon she used to attack people with, and would start out as a sea spear (harpoon :P ), then the ends would branch off into a trident if she really needed to harm something.
