Kheyman Maharet is a half-breed Vampire Hunter. Well, technically he's three-quarters vampire, but you'd do well to not touch the subject at all about him. He's got an evil temper when he sets his mind to it, but not a lot can set him off... except for Urara. Urara drives him nuts 90% of the time. Kheyman was the one who took Urara from the mental ward, saving her from certain destruction when he blew it up. He has regretted it ever since. ^-^

Very little is known of Kheyman's past, or even of his age. Some say he's only 100, where others say he's ageless, been here since the dawn of time. Only Kheyman really knows. He had a lover once. Her name was Antoinette du Soleil. She died a long, long time ago. Kheyman loved her dearly, but she was eventually bitten by a vampire, and Kheyman had to kill her himself.

Pluto Gemini is his parter in the vampire hunting business. He met him some years ago in Dublin, Ireland, on a search for a particular vampire. They've been partners ever since. Pluto seems to be the only one who really understands Kheyman and how his mind works. Maybe even than Kheyman does.
