Robert was born on May 4th, 1869 in Hamburg, NJ.  Robert's father was Shauger and his mother was Katie Jane Talmadge.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 93 in 1962 in Saugerties, UlsterCo., NY.  His burial was in Mt. View Cemetery, Saugerties, Ulster Co., N.Y..
