Supremacy

~~~~~ He walked steadily through the castle halls. None of the lanterns were yet lit, but as he walked by, like magic, they all lit up and flared beautifully with blue flames.
~~~~~ He came to the wooden door, knocking three times, then waiting for anyone to answer. Slowly, the door opened, and Amira's face peaked out.
~~~~~ "What are you doing here?" she whispered. "Someone is going to see you, get in... get in." she rushed him inside her room and closed the door once more. She turned and stared at him a moment. "Where is your shirt?"
~~~~~ "I gave it to the Empress." he replied. "I wanted to speak with you."
~~~~~ "About?" Amira asked as she sat down in front of her mirror and began to brush her hair.
~~~~~ "About our plan, of course." he replied.

~~~~~ Amira rolled over in her bed, and much to her surprise found QuiniBob.
~~~~~ "What is this?" Amira pulled the covers up to her neck and sat up. QuiniBob layed beside her, smiling.
~~~~~ "I have come to you... to make a proposal."
~~~~~ "Wh... what kind of proposal are you suggesting?" Amira still covered herself with the covers.
~~~~~ "I believe, that in the end... we both have similar goals... you want to rule... as do I."
~~~~~ "I see... well, you realise what a horrible idea that was. We cannot just wander into the centre of the castle and demand that we rule it within three seconds. It's too much work. We aren't up to it." Amira shot him down.
~~~~~ "We are up to it. Don't you realise this?" QuiniBob sat on her bed. "We can do it. Between my mastery of flame... and your precognition... I think that we can manage to take over the entire world."
~~~~~ Amira placed her brush on the table, "Are you sure?" QuiniBob smiled.
~~~~~ "Of course I am. And anyway, we aren't starting from scratch! Just get rid of the one in power, then we can take the throne! It's that simple." He smiled once more, laying down on the bed, resting his head on her pillow.
~~~~~ "And if someone else gets the same idea once the two of us are in power?" Amira crossed her legs.
~~~~~ "Then we kill them."
~~~~~ "And... we aren't going to be killed?"

~~~~~ "You... want to take over the throne... with me at your side?" Amira asked in disbelief.
~~~~~ "Yes. Together we can rule it all! Just picture it. You and I, ruling over all of the peasants." QuiniBob smiled, inching closer to her.
~~~~~ "And what makes you think that I want you at my side?" Amira smiled, eyeing him over.
~~~~~ "Nobody would see it coming from either of us, and when they would think to kill us, it would be too late and we would already be in power. It's the perfect decision and..." someone began to knock on the door, startling them both. They began to panic.
~~~~~ "Who is it?" Amira screamed, standing. The door opened, a random servant entering.
~~~~~ "You are wanted downstairs, miss..." she looked over, noticing a half naked QuiniBob on Amira's bed. "But... I can get you fifteen minutes if you need..."
~~~~~ Both of them blushing, Amira directed the servant out of her room. "I'll be down soon. Thank you."
~~~~~ "Are you saying that you wouldn't want me ruling by your side?" QuiniBob asked, smiling cockily.
~~~~~ "Perceptive." Amira replied sarcastically.
~~~~~ "You'll change your mind once you see what I have to offer." QuiniBob grinned widely.
~~~~~ "I understand now why you chose to come to me while in bed." Amira laughed as QuiniBob turned bright red.
~~~~~ "You see what you just did?" Amira waved her arms around in anger.
~~~~~ "Pleasured you?" QuiniBob asked.
~~~~~ "As far as that servant's concerned, yes." Amira replied angrily.
~~~~~ "Pff. That's one servant." QuiniBob responded lazily.
~~~~~ Amira paused a moment. "Just... get out of my bed now."

Courage

~~~~~ She had led a horrible life. Every time that she turned around, something absolutely devastating seemed to happen to her.
~~~~~ She really just couldn't catch a break.
~~~~~ Running through the woods, she tried to escape, but it was really no use. Whatever was chasing her was going to catch her sooner or later. They always seemed to.
~~~~~ She could hear the footsteps running after her. She still wasn't sure who, or what, was chasing her. Twigs snapping beneath her feet, leaves flying into the air while she passed. She was nearly out of breath.
~~~~~ Looking straight ahead, not looking at the ground, she was caught on a root.
~~~~~ She tripped, falling to the ground hard.

~~~~~ She hadn't run like that from anyone, aside from the day that she turned thirteen years old.
~~~~~ She had been wondering why they hadn't taken her out of her cell. Hoping that maybe they forgot about her for a day, and she wouldn't have to work. She knew that if she didn't tell them she was still there, they would punish her. Finally, the door to her cell opened.
~~~~~ "Come on, sweet-cheeks. It's your thirteenth birthday..." the ogre gave a short laugh. "Time you meet your new master."
~~~~~ The ogre chained her, and lead her out of the cell. She was taken through the halls that she knew well at that point, going passed all of the people that had raised her, that had survived long enough to see her go. They were saddened. She could see their expressions. They were sorry for her. They felt her life there, would be worse than her life with them.
~~~~~ "No..." NooNoo cried. The ogre looked back a moment, just long enough for her to kick him in the face and begin running away. He eventually caught her though. And she was punished before being sold.
~~~~~ She lifted herself off of the ground, flipping herself onto her back, hoping to face her attacker. She stared. Nothing was there. Nobody was chasing her.
~~~~~ Still panicking, her breaths still short, she searched the radius behind her. Nothing was there. Nobody was there. What was she running from?
~~~~~ She stood, still searching the area. She took a few steps back, then turned to continue running away from what looked like nothing. She was stopped by something.
~~~~~ She looked up.
~~~~~ "NO!" before she could turn to run back the other way, he grabbed onto her, and wouldn't let go. She began crying. "No... please... let me go..."
~~~~~ "Been a few years, eh Noo?" he smiled, licking his lips.
~~~~~ "No... please... don't do this... PLEASE..."

~~~~~ "Come on, girly. You know you like it..." he smiled, rubbing her chest. Tears rolled down her face, and she turned away from him, closing her eyes. Hoping it would be over soon.
~~~~~ She was chained to the bed, and had no chance of escape. The only thing she could do was to let him do to her what she feared, and hope she would eventually make it away.
~~~~~ He did. She tried to close her eyes, hoping it would go faster, but it seemed to last an eternity. And it wasn't the only time. He did it again. Over and over.
~~~~~ "I'm surprised you stayed outta trouble for so long." he began to kiss her neck as her face was nearly soaking in her tears.
~~~~~ "Please... leave me alone..." she cried.
~~~~~ "You'll never escape me, Noo... I'm going to make you one of my wives." He bent in, trying to kiss her on the lips. She bit him. Hard. "AARGH!" he screamed.
~~~~~ She kneed him in the groin, kicking him to the ground, and proceeded to run once more.
~~~~~ "Don't you want to be one of my wives, Noo?" he asked, playing with her hair.
~~~~~ She merely glared at him in response. "Answer me!" he would continously scream. She never took any of his threats to heart. Until she woke up one morning, chained to the floor like the always was. There seemed to be more hair. Then she noticed.
~~~~~ He had just cut it off of her.
~~~~~ "I'll cut off more next time, Noo."
~~~~~ She ran, finally doubling back and resting atop a small mountain side. She waited for him to pass below her.
~~~~~ "Come on, Noo. You can't run forever."
~~~~~ "Don't plan to..." she muttered to herself. She waited for him to step into place. Then he did. "DIE!"
~~~~~ He looked up, hearing her scream, and was just in time to see the boulder come straight down toward him.
~~~~~ She wandered down to see her damage. All that remained was an arm. Everything else was under the boulder. "I'll crush more next time, bastard."

Trigon

~~~~~ There are some people that would call him a whore.
~~~~~ Some would call him a hussler. Others might call him a tramp, floosey, or some other reference to his sleeping around and deceiving women who honestly believe that he loves them.
~~~~~ Maybe in some world he's a pimp.
~~~~~ He woke, rolling over in the bed, noticing that there was nobody sleeping beside him.
~~~~~ "Excellent." he said happily as he checked out the window, clothed himself, and continued down through the halls of the castle.
~~~~~ He walked toward the door, it opened before he even knocked.

~~~~~ He remembers the first time that they ever saw each other.
~~~~~ She gave him the oddest look that he had ever seen, and he wondered why. He waited for everyone to leave the room, and she immediately took out a book, begining to read, not realising that he was still in the room.
~~~~~ "How are we today?" he asked with a smile.
~~~~~ She looked up from the book, closed it, placed it on the table, and stared him straight in the eye. "What the Hell do you want?"
~~~~~ Liepold had no idea how to respond to that.
~~~~~ Amira appeared behind the open door, motioning him inside. He smiled, and quickly rushed in, sitting on the edge of her bed.
~~~~~ She gave a quick glare, "I've had too many males on my bed this week..." she began. He gave a strange look.
~~~~~ "How did you know that I was going to be coming to your door?" Liepold inquired.
~~~~~ "I can see the future." Amira retorted.
~~~~~ "Point taken. I have something to offer you..." Amira raised her hand to hush him.
~~~~~ "I've been prepositioned too many times this week, okay? And anyway, yours has been passed around way too many..." Amira started.
~~~~~ Liepold started to blush, "That's... that's not what I meant, actually..."

~~~~~ "Well? What is it that you want?" Amira asked sharply.
~~~~~ "I was wondering if you needed... a male... for... um... my services..."
~~~~~ "Did... did you just come out?" Both sat a moment in confusion.
~~~~~ "Well, I frankly don't care," Amira said tactfully, "but I have an offer for you."
~~~~~ "You... for me?" Liepold stared.
~~~~~ "I've noticed how you've been... fauning over the other... women of the regime..." Amira gave a quick smile. "I was wondering..."
~~~~~ Liepold stared at her in amazement as she spoke. What she was offering was amazing. She wanted to join forces with him? He didn't know what to say.
~~~~~ "How... why would... did it sound like I came out? Because... I... I didn't..." Liepold stuttered on, trying to explain himself.
~~~~~ "Not ready to yet?" Amira asked.
~~~~~ "Yes! I mean... no! NO!" Liepold began again.
~~~~~ Amira laughed, and left the room.
~~~~~ "You want me... to pretend to be in love with them... gain their trust and..." Liepold repeated from her speech.
~~~~~ "I'm only asking you to do what you're already doing."
~~~~~ "Yeah... I can... yeah. I'll do it."
~~~~~ "Good." Amira smiled, and turned to her mirror, brushing her hair. Liepold sat on the bed a few moments until Amira gave him another look. "Are you still here?"
Insubordinate
~~~~~ She was the only one of them that truly had any sort of plans. She was the only one of them that knew what was really happening with everyone around her.
~~~~~ None of them realised that she had other plans.
~~~~~ None of them saw her leave.
~~~~~ Nobody knew she was playing people on both sides of the war.
~~~~~ Her name; Amira.
~~~~~ She didn't have a true side.
~~~~~ She could clearly remember saying what she said.
~~~~~ "The betrayal... I'm still not sure who... but she was definately female... and the colour of blue popped into my mind.." Amira lied. She knew exactly who the traitor was, but needed more time to allow said traitor to continue their plan.
~~~~~ There weren't many possibilities of who it could be. Dré was a top choice. Female and blue. Duh. Iria was also up there. Female, blue hair.
~~~~~ Amira knew who it was. And she wasn't telling anyone.
~~~~~ "You'll find out when it's too late..." Amira smiled as she fell asleep.

~~~~~ Amira hooded herself, heading outside of the castle gates. Luckily for her, nobody knew of her other power. Not only could she see the future...
~~~~~ "Stop there!" the guard exclaimed. Amira waved her hand, and he froze in place.
~~~~~ ...Amira could also control time. The power was limited... but with training, it could be amazing.
~~~~~ Amira continued passed the frozen guard, and outside of the gates. She wandered seemingly aimlessly, but she knew exactly where she was going. She just did not want to be seen outside.
~~~~~ "Are you the one they call... Dré?" a voice asked from the bushes. Amira looked up, smiling.
~~~~~ "Yes. I am Dré." Amira said, looking into the bushes. A female figure emerged from them. "Are you Alaya? The one from the underground that I can deal with?"
~~~~~ "Please... we can't speak here... come with me, Dré..."
~~~~~ "M... Mom? Daddy?" Amira watched from the shadows. How she did love the reunion of Dré and her family, however, Amira noticed something strange in Dré's demeanor.
~~~~~ She didn't seem to beleive that they were her parents.
~~~~~ Good for her.

~~~~~ Alaya dragged Amira to a small cave, they continued on into it until they reached a glowing pool.
~~~~~ "They call this the pool of crystal tears..." Alaya told her. "Now... Dré... can you give me any infromation about anything going on in the castle?"
~~~~~ "That is what I needed to speak to you about. I'm not high enough to have gained any information that you need... but, I know there is another woman who deals with the underground..."
~~~~~ "You don't mean Iria, do you?" Amira smiled.

~~~~~ She remembers watching out her window as Iria hooded herself and ran off.
~~~~~ Thought she was so secretive.
~~~~~ Thought nobody saw her.
~~~~~ Thought that there wasn't anyone to rat her out.

~~~~~ "What about Iria?"
~~~~~ "I'm sorry to tell you... but... she is a traitor to the underground."
~~~~~ "WHAT?" Alaya's expression was a mix of confusion and rage.
~~~~~ "She is a traitor. She told everyone of the position of the underground's base... she helped to plan the attack that will take place tomorrow evening." Amira gave a faked expression, showing sympathy. It worked on Alaya.
~~~~~ "She... I can't believe it!" Alaya snarled. "And what about Ongrios? Didn't he tell on us aswell?"
~~~~~ "He never got the chance... Iria killed him." Alaya gasped, and ran off after thanking Amira for the help. Amira smiled. Her plan was falling into place. Soon, both Iria and Dré would be thought traitors.

Harlot

~~~~~ She turned over in bed, staring straight into his face. She was amazed. They had spent the entire night together with no interuptions. She was happy. She was glad. Then she realised how bad it was. Someone would be sure to find out now.
~~~~~ Medea sat up, beginning to panic. It was nearly noon. He had arrived in her room the night prior, and that meant that up in the chambers, where he was designated to sleep, there was one angry woman.
~~~~~ She looked back down at him. She couldn't let him leave her.
~~~~~ He was the only person that ever made her feel like she was anything. He had the ability to make her happy. He made her feel whole. She had never been loved.
~~~~~ She had never been in love.
~~~~~ But she loved him with all that she had. At least, as far as she knew, he was the only person that she loved, and she thought she loved him a lot. As far as she knew, she did.
~~~~~ Most people avoided her, afraid of her life sucking powers. She had the ability to control them, but they never saw that. Never. They only saw that she could kill them, and they didn't want to stay to see what would really happen.
~~~~~ He was different. He stayed. He touched. He made love to her.

~~~~~ Lanterns lit and everything darkened. Three knocks came to the door, which she hurriedly answered. She swung the door open, pulling him in, and closed the door again.
~~~~~ She turned to him. "We shouldn't do this." They kissed.
~~~~~ "Why not?" Liepold asked. She kissed him once more.
~~~~~ "Because having sex with you is threatening both of our lives."
~~~~~ "It's worth it to be with you."
~~~~~ She smiled down at his sleeping face once more.
~~~~~ She began to stroke his hair when he awoke.
~~~~~ "Wh... what time is it?" Liepold asked groggily.
~~~~~ She turned away from him a moment, "it's around noon."
~~~~~ His eyes bulged out a little. "Sorry... what?" he asked, still staring at her. She turned away in shame, disgrace of keeping him there for so long.
~~~~~ "You spent the night, Liepold..."
~~~~~ "She's going to kill us..." Liepold jumped out of the bed and began to dress.

~~~~~ Neither of them were completely dressed anymore. They were caught up between duty, passion and their allegiances that had to be kept sacred.
~~~~~ They both realised that spending any time together, especially in intimate contact, would most likely result in both of their deaths.
~~~~~ Neither of them seemed to care.
~~~~~ She watched as he threw his clothes back on and rushed from the room, leaving her in the bed alone. The door slammed behind him.
~~~~~ "Goodbye, Liepold..." Medea muttered under her breath. She rested her face on her knees for a moment. She wasn't sure who was the bigger whore. Her, or Liepold.
~~~~~ Medea wasn't a stupid woman, everyone was sure of this.
~~~~~ But then, why was he so dumb?
~~~~~ She watched as Liepold wandered through the entry hall. He walked passed both Amira and QuiniBob, giving Amira a strange look.
~~~~~ It wasn't an evil look, or an angry look. It was a look of longing.
~~~~~ A look of secrecy.
~~~~~ Medea knew that there was something going on.
~~~~~ Medea got out of her bed, promptly making it, and she continued on to go and get dressed.
~~~~~ She finished in three minutes, and headed toward her door to leave, maybe to go outside. Before she arrived across her room, the door opened, Amira stepping in.
~~~~~ "Oh... what a... surprise." Medea stated.
~~~~~ Amira gave a smirk, "Medea. There's something I want to talk to you about."
~~~~~ "Oh?"
~~~~~ "Don't you realise that everyone knows?" she asked, happily.
~~~~~ "And you don't see that... your tracks aren't covered, either?" Startled, Amira gave a stunned look. Medea smiled, and wandered out of the room. "Close the door when you leave."

Conspiracy

~~~~~ She opened the door, entering back into the strange world that always beheld her eyes on such nights. She smiled. She loved it there. It was peaceful. It was wonderful.
~~~~~ There were just a couple of things wrong today, however. They made her so sad.
~~~~~ Sad that she might not be able to help her friends. Sad that hundreds of lives might end, if she didn't act soon. Sad that maybe, she wouldn't be the hero.
~~~~~ She rushed towards the centre of everything. It was their own little world there, and it made her so incredibly happy. She turned her head both ways, searching through the masses of people to find the one person that she wanted to speak with.
~~~~~ She spotted him.
~~~~~ Rushing over to him, he looked up, smiling, then his smile turned into a frown.
~~~~~ "Something wrong?" Iria asked as she slowed her pace a little, anticipating a problem.
~~~~~ "We..." Greer began. He rushed over, taking Iria into another room. "You can't be seen here. Alaya has... spread some sort of rumour... I hope."

~~~~~ Iria walked slowly down the hallway. She had taken her shoes off so that she wouldn't make too much noise, and awaken anyone that was sleeping.
~~~~~ She heard talking.
~~~~~ Slowly, she creapt to the door, pressing her ear to it to hear what was being said. She wasn't sure who was speaking.
~~~~~ "And you know where the underground base is, Amira?" a female's voice asked.
~~~~~ "Yes. And I think attacking this evening would be advisable."
~~~~~ "Greer, I don't care about Alaya. First I have to tell you... Amira, the Empress's advisor, is planning an attack on the underground. Tonight!" Iria exclaimed. Greer gave a strange look. "W... what?"
~~~~~ "We know that, Iria. Alaya told us that... that you were a traitor. You planned the attack. You killed Ongrios." he quickly looked away.
~~~~~ "Who the Hell is Ongrios?"
~~~~~ He turned back to face her. "Just... leave... I do trust you, but the others... they don't so much. Listen... we have to move our base tonight... we have a lot of work to do... preparing the girls and all."
~~~~~ "The girls?" Iria asked, confusedly. Greer nodded.
~~~~~ "A redhead and a girl with pink hair. Both of them are the only ones here who have the ability to teleport. Both of them have found a new base to be planted in. They've been transporting our supplies all day, and they're going to begin transporting people in a matter of minutes."
~~~~~ "And what happens to everything that's left behind here? Like the homes? And what about anyone that isn't teleported out before the attack?"

~~~~~ Iria held close to the door, her face starting to go slightly scared.
~~~~~ "This evening? Alright. I want everyone to be with us before attacking however." the female's voice said.
~~~~~ "I foresee victory." Amira laughed. "This is all for our Empress. Long live, and all that."
~~~~~ "We will have to build new homes. We will try to get everyone out before the attack. I will be last to teleport... just in case anything happens... I don't want anyone dying on my account." Greer turned away a moment. She quickly grabbed his shoulder.
~~~~~ "Greer! You can't! I won't let you die for..." Iria began. He slapped her hand off of his shoulder.
~~~~~ "Remember, Iria. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." Leaving the room, Greer didn't look back. Iria stood alone a few moments, before noticing two familiar faces outside of the room. She rushed over to them, grabbing both of them by their collars.
~~~~~ "YOU! You're the traitors, aren't you?"
~~~~~ "Shall we see you again tomorrow night?" Greer asked, smiled abroad on his face.
~~~~~ "You can count on it." she happily replied. She gave a quick glance around the large gathering of people, picking out a familiar blue face. "No... it couldn't be her... the Empress would have her head..." dismissing the thought, Iria turned back through the door, and stood in the darkened alleyway once more.
~~~~~ "I knew that it was you! I saw you here before, Dré!" As Iria attacked them, many people crowded around, watching the scene. Greer and Alaya rushed in to help out.
~~~~~ "Iria! Stop! They are part of the resistance!" Greer shouted.
~~~~~ "They work for the Empress!" Iria screamed.
~~~~~ "So do you." Alaya replied.
~~~~~ "No! These two are the Empress's pawns!" she pointed to both of them. "That's Dré, and the male is Eon!"
~~~~~ "What?" Alaya asked in confusion.
~~~~~ "Wait, everyone calm down here, and slowly explain to me what's happening."

Innocence

~~~~~ He stared on at the conversation. Iria had been pulled off of him, she was completely angry. Angrier than anyone that Eon had ever seen before.
~~~~~ Accusations flew around the tiny group of them. Iria screaming at the top of her lungs, Greer holding her back. Dré and Eon on the ground, scared lifeless, and Alaya standing on the sidelines in awe.
~~~~~ "They are the ones that betrayed you! They planned the attack! They are evil! Kill them both!" Iria screamed. Alaya raised her hand to hush her.
~~~~~ "Did..." Alaya looked to Iria a moment. "Did you say that the blue elf... is named Dré?" Alaya asked. Iria nodded.
~~~~~ "Of course it's Dré!"
~~~~~ "But... I met Dré. She was the one who told me of the attack..." Iria stopped struggling, and looked to Alaya in confusion, then to Dré in both confusion and anger.
~~~~~ "I... I've never met you before..." Dré said, timidly.
~~~~~ "Hence the problem." Alaya responded.

~~~~~ He fell to the ground, skin feeling like it was going to burn off. He didn't know why it had happened to him. Why was he targeted? He was from such a powerful race... he was a Changeling, yet he remained defenseless.
~~~~~ Finally, the threat was gone, but still, he stayed on the ground.
~~~~~ He stayed on the ground until he was found by a tall blonde woman. He shut his eyes a moment, and when he awoke, he was inside the underground. The base of the resistance.
~~~~~ "You're awake. Welcome, comrade." Greer said, smiling. Eon sat up.
~~~~~ "Thank you..." he replied.
~~~~~ "The Dré that I met... she was younger... human, I think. She had long blonde and silver hair... had a pendant on her forehead... I think... she..." Alaya rambled.
~~~~~ "Amira." Eon stated. Everyone stopped and looked at him. "It's all beginning to make sense."
~~~~~ "What is?" Iria snarled.
~~~~~ "Amira... she's incredibly devious... I didn't know what she was planning, and I still don't. But now I'm beginning to see... she used Dré's name, so that the Empress would think Dré a traitor, and dispose of her."
~~~~~ "And what of Iria?" Alaya asked, tiffed.
~~~~~ "I suppose Amira wanted Iria out of the picture... being friends with the Empress for so long, Iria poses a great threat." Dré reminded.
~~~~~ Greer stopped them all, "Wait... you two. Work for the Empress?"

~~~~~ "We at the underground are searching for some way to get rid of the Empress. We want to save Aslin from destruction, and to do so we would have to destroy that damnable woman." Greer told him. They walked around the base.
~~~~~ "Can I help?" Eon asked, staring hopefully into Greer's face.
~~~~~ "Anything that you can provide us would be appreciated. The doors are always open to fellow comrades. You are welcome any time."
~~~~~ "We don't work for the Empress. Yes, I admit, we are considered, to her, and any observers, her underlings. But... Greer. You saved my life. You know my views. I trust you. I honestly want to help." Eon began. Greer nodded silently, staring at his feet.
~~~~~ "And her?" Iria asked.
~~~~~ "I don't want to live in a world like this. To be enslaved our lives... and what of our children? I just want to save Aslin from her tyranny." Dré started. In a flash, two woman appeared five feet from the group.
~~~~~ "We're ready to begin evacuation." the redhead began. Greer nodded.
~~~~~ When thinking back to what he wanted to save by helping to get rid of the Empress, Eon's mind shot straight to his parents, who were still alive by some miracle. "Do either of you remember... when we all went to the beach? The first time, I mean..." Both of his parents sat in silence. "You... don't remember... do you?"
~~~~~ "The first time... we went to the beach?" Thedad began. "That... that was the day that you fell... fell from the cliff." Taken aback, Eon once again stood in silence.
~~~~~ "Thank you."

~~~~~ "We're going to have to sort all of this out later... I have work to do." Greer turned to the girls, and began speaking with them, gathering people.
~~~~~ The four of them stood in silence, staring at the air in between them. "Iria... I'm sorry." Alaya abruptly spoke. The other three turned and stared at her, "I'm sorry for spreading the rumours without checking them up..."
~~~~~ "It... I guess it isn't your fault..." Iria muttered.
~~~~~ "And Dré... to you I must say sorry... I am so sorry, Dré..."
~~~~~ "Don't think anything of..." Dré began. Greer began shouting.
~~~~~ "Line up into two lines. It doesn't matter which line you get into. Don't worry. We'll get you all out safely." Greer climbed down from the pile of crates that he'd gotten up on to get people's attention.
~~~~~ "Who actually did plan the attack?" Eon asked finally.
Eject
~~~~~ "It must have been Amira that planned it..." she began. "She must have wanted to try getting Iria and I out of the picture... out us as traitors to the Empress and..." Dré stopped in mid-sentence. She turned to Eon, face gloomy.
~~~~~ "What's wrong?" Eon leaned toward her. She looked him in the eye, tears nearing. "Are you going to be alright?"
~~~~~ "I think that mom and daddy are being used... used against us." She stared into his eyes. "I think that all the time, the Empress had the idea to use them to force us to go with her."
~~~~~ "No... they remember the beach." Eon replied. Dré started to question him. "I went to them. I asked them if they remembered the first time we all went to the beach. They did. They explained it to me, telling me it was the first time I used my powers in front of them."
~~~~~ "But..."
~~~~~ "If they aren't our real parents... then how would they know that?" Eon stared into her eyes.
~~~~~ "I..." she had no answer. She was wondering about everything herself. "We found their bodies..."

~~~~~ They sifted through what was the faerie kingdom. Rolling over ashes and burnt objects, they headed toward the centre.
~~~~~ "What are you looking for?" Eon continued pushing aside rubble, watching Dré bend down, picking something up and dusting it off. She turned to Eon. "What is it? What did you find?"
~~~~~ "Mom's crown..."
~~~~~ "So, I guess she left it behind when she and dad escaped..." Eon began.
~~~~~ She pointed towards a skeleton of a faerie. "No... I found it on Mom."
~~~~~ "This is all good... but maybe we should be lining up to escape?" Iria asked.
~~~~~ "Why not just go back to the castle?" Dré inquired.
~~~~~ Iria rolled her eyes. "And how do you suggest we go about doing that? Just waltz out the exit and toddle up to the Empress as she flies down here to destroy us?"
~~~~~ "I doubt that she would destroy us..." Dré began.
~~~~~ "You sure? As far as we know, she thinks we're both traitors." Iria replied.
~~~~~ "I'm sorry... if I had known... I might not have..." Alaya began. Iria and Dré turned to her.
~~~~~ "Might not have what?" Dré asked.

~~~~~ Walking back from the underground, late during the night, Dré stopped, hearing scuffling sounds. She hid in the trees.
~~~~~ "TELL ME!" she heard a woman scream.
~~~~~ "Alright! Please... don't hurt me!" another woman screamed. Before anything could happen, Dré rushed off, back to the castle.
~~~~~ "I had met with Dré... or who I thought was Dré... I was confronted by the Empress herself... she had been watching me as I ran from the pool of crystal tears, and..."
~~~~~ "And what, Alaya?" Dré asked worriedly.
~~~~~ "She threatened my life. Telling me that if I didn't answer her... tell her what I had been doing... she would kill me..."
~~~~~ "And... you were forced to tell her that... I betrayed her?"
~~~~~ "Good morning, Dré." The Empress had said to her that mere morning. Dré smiled, bowing, and looked the Empress in the face.
~~~~~ "Good morning, my Empress."
~~~~~ Looking her over, the Empress smiled. "Why don't you go visit your parents?"

~~~~~ "I'm so sorry..." Alaya looked her in the eyes. "In all sincerity..." tears of blood rolled down her face. "I have forsaken yet another... all for the prophecy..."
~~~~~ "Prophecy, eh?" Eon asked sceptically.
~~~~~ "That means... that means that I can't return to the castle... she will kill me..." Dré started. She slumped onto the ground, staring at the dirt.
~~~~~ "That only means that you will be here... you will be able to help here more." Iria started.
~~~~~ "Eon... I..." Dré spoke.
~~~~~ "I'll find the truth to our parents."
~~~~~ Tears formed in her eyes, and she stared into the distance. Everything was changed now. Everything.
Abandon
~~~~~ Alaya wandered through the crowds of panicking people. They all knew that time was running out for them. They all cared. A lot. They were pushing, they were fighting, and some were crying.
~~~~~ She realised that it was her fault.
~~~~~ She leaked information to Amira. Amira leaked the information to the Empress, and so the strike was planned. There was nothing to change that now.
~~~~~ Her face had turned a light shade of pink from the bloody tears that she had been leaking earlier on in the night. She was scared.
~~~~~ She stared down at the pendant that she had been given. She smiled when thinking back, for the first time, she actually smiled when thinking of her ex-male.
~~~~~ "Through death, the blessed one brings life..." Alaya finally gave up. She realised that it couldn't be about her, as she just wrote the deaths of hundreds of people. Hundreds of people turned morlock by the tyranny of one supposed Empress.
~~~~~ Grabbing hold of the necklace, she yanked it from her neck, and threw it to the ground.

~~~~~ "Alaya... this note came for you..." Greer told her. He walked over, handing her the note. "I'm not sure who it came from, but I assume it's someone from in here." Smiling, Greer wandered away to deliver the rest of the parcels from the morning mail slot. They had a beautiful society.
~~~~~ Alaya opened up the note and began to read, "my name is Dré... meet me in the forest... information directly from Empress... underground..."
~~~~~ "Is it good news?" a young voice startled Alaya, forcing her to jump. She looked around, then finally down, noticing the young Jesus.
~~~~~ She crouched down before him, "hello, Jesus. How are you today?" Alaya felt a strange power from the young boy. A purity that she felt she wasn't worthy of seeing.
~~~~~ "I am good." Jesus smiled and toddled off. Alaya smiled, then returned to reviewing the note.
~~~~~ She watched as the people all piled into groups of five, and were transported to the new, secret area by the two young girls. They were obviously beginning to tire.
~~~~~ Both the girls were sweating profusely, and neither looked too healthy. She pitied the two of them. Yes, they were doing amazing work. Saving everyone that Alaya had forsaken. But in the process, they were going to die.
~~~~~ Just as she pitied them, she admired them for all the same reasons.
~~~~~ She noticed Eon walking over to them. "Who are you?" The redhead asked as she wiped sweat from her forehead.
~~~~~ "My... my name is Eon. I'm a Changeling. One of my powers is the ability to copy the powers of others... if you'll allow... I'd like to help... and maybe get these people out of here faster." Eon smiled.
~~~~~ The girls nodded, and he placed a hand on both of their shoulders. The three of them all began glowing a light shade of blue, invisible to most people's eyes, but not to a vampire's.
~~~~~ The redhead teleported with Eon to the new base, then in a flash they returned. "You know where it is, now?" the girl asked. Eon nodded, and groups began to surround him.

~~~~~ She watched as Jesus played with some of the other underground children. What a horrible life all of them lead.
~~~~~ "Hello, Ms. Laya." Jesus smiled as he waved to her. Smiling, Alaya waved back to the boy.
~~~~~ There was something so strange about him. Something she couldn't pinpoint. Something that could possibly save her soul if she so desired.
~~~~~ She felt strange feelings for the young boy. Feelings that confused her greatly.

~~~~~ As more and more people began to disappear, reappearing at the new base, Alaya finally noticed how large the installation was. She looked around. Only, around, one-hundred and seventy people left.
~~~~~ She noticed that Greer was still directing people around. How she loved him. He was perfect for her, in absolutely every way. He was caring. He was fun. He was the most beautiful soul that she had ever encountered. The only problem, was that his heart belonged to another.
~~~~~ "Greer... if we don't make it..." Iria began.
~~~~~ "We will." He responded calmly. "Don't worry."

~~~~~ Greer held her as the light disappeared. "Do you need help finding your home in the dark?" Greer asked, holding onto her. Alaya shook her head.
~~~~~ "I'm a vampire... I thrive in the dark." she smiled, and he nodded. "But... do you need any help finding your way back to yours?"
~~~~~ Normally, she dispised helping people do such trivial things. He was different. He was worth the trouble. He was worth her life.
~~~~~ As more and more people disappeared, finally only a few remained. The two girls and Eon reappeared in the installation. Greer and Iria were the only two, aside from Alaya, that remained.
~~~~~ "We did it." Greer kissed Iria on the cheek.
~~~~~ "I'm going to check for any more people." Eon told them as he flew up into the air. Alaya stood and began walking towards the other four. Greer turned to the girl with the pink hair.
~~~~~ "Kaori, would you mind teleporting myself and Iria to the other base? Alamain, maybe you should fly up with Eon, looking for any more people." Greer began. The ground started shaking.
~~~~~ "The attack!" Iria screamed. In a flash, she, Greer and Kaori were gone. Alamain flew up into the air.
~~~~~ "Hurry up! We're under attack!" Alamain noticed Alaya walking below, and swooped down.
~~~~~ "I see a little boy! I'm going to save him! You take Alaya!" The roof began collapsing in, and a scream was heard. Alaya turned, only to see that Jesus was trapped beneath a pile of rubble.
~~~~~ "NO!" Alaya turned back and began running toward him.
~~~~~ "We have to get out of here!" Alamain grabbed hold of Alaya, and in the blink of an eye, they were gone, leaving only Jesus and Eon in the installation. Crashes and bangs were heard. Everything collapsing in on itself.
~~~~~ Eon rushed over to the young boy. "You're going to be okay..." Eon screamed. In a whoosh of dust, nothing could be seen anymore.
Assault
~~~~~ She loved it. She loved it all. The smell of destruction. The stench of death. The screams of the innocent. It was all so beautiful. Many would have called her crazy. If they ever did, though, they would be wise enough to run. As she would kill them.
~~~~~ She loomed over the destruction. She had gotten rid of the one thing that stood in her way. No more underground resistance meant that Saines would be able to live a happy life.
~~~~~ Saines would be able to live a happy life in her happy castle ruling over all of the unhappy people. That was the life that she wanted.
~~~~~ She stared down at the destroyed base. There was something wrong.
~~~~~ She looked to her sides. Amira, QuiniBob, Liepold, Medea, and the newest thing she had acquired, Ongrios.
~~~~~ "Find any survivors." Saines demanded.
~~~~~ "What should we do with them?" Amira asked. Saines smiled.
~~~~~ "Kill them."
~~~~~ "Please... don't hurt me!" Alaya screamed. "What do you want to know?" Saines stared at the girl as she held her throat in her hand.
~~~~~ "What are you doing out here?" she asked.
~~~~~ "I... I was meeting a friend..." her grip of Alaya's neck tightened. "Alright! I was meeting Dré!" Alaya began to choke. Saines dropped the girl.
~~~~~ "Dré? You were meeting with Dré? Why?" flames roared in her eyes.
~~~~~ "Dré... she betrays you..." Alaya began. "The same way that Iria betrays her alliance with the underground..."

~~~~~ The best friend that she had ever known was a traitor. Her best friend was playing her for a fool. Her best friend was against her in the war for the world.
~~~~~ She looked around. Her true minions were toiling through the rubble of the destroyed base, searching for any survivors or some sort of technology.
~~~~~ "Anyone living?" Saines asked.
~~~~~ "None yet." Ongrios yelled. Saines nodded, and turned to look behind her. The sun was rising. It was beautiful.
~~~~~ "Empress! I've found something!" Liepold screamed. Saines turned, and leaped down to their level. She helped raise the soil and metal that covered the object. They stared at it a moment.
~~~~~ "What is it?" Amira asked quickly.
~~~~~ In a moment, it turned from a strange bowl-like thing, to liquid, then reformed as Eon and a young boy in his arms. Saines stared at them in awe.
~~~~~ Everything was white.
~~~~~ She was warm. She was in the arms of God. He had blessed her with the greatest gift. Together, they made an amazing cerature.
~~~~~ It didn't seem like long at all. No time at all passed on the real Aslin. Saines assumed that it had been a dream. An amazing dream about sleeping with God.
~~~~~ She still remembers that their child was beautiful. Black hair. Brown eyes... beautiful.
~~~~~ She stared at the young boy, eye near twitching. "Are you alright, Empress?" Liepold asked as he placed his hand on her shoulder. She turned to him, then clutched her forehead.
~~~~~ "Yes... I just... the boy looks familiar is all..." Eon stirred, and opened his eyes. He looked up at the others. "Morning Eon. Dealing with the underground, I see."
~~~~~ "Empress. I would never." Eon replied as he sat up to better view her face.
~~~~~ "Then explain to me why you're here." she demanded.
~~~~~ "Amira sent me here before the attack ensued. She told me about a vision she had had. A vision about a young boy growing into one of the most powerful beings on Aslin. Together, she and I assumed you would want him, and I came to claim him from the underground." Eon babbled.
~~~~~ "And?" she asked again.
~~~~~ "And, when I finally found him, you attacked. Trapping us both."

~~~~~ "This is the location of the underground, my Empress." Amira bowed before Saines, pointing to the point in the ground which his the entrance to the underground's base.
~~~~~ "Thank you, daughter." Saines smiled, and began to glare towards the ground. She began glowing, growing larger, until finally her clothing shredded and she was a gigantic dragon. She began pummeling the ground with flame after flame. Huge balls of plasma that struck deep into the earth, destroying the base below. Eventually, she returned to her human form, standing triumphant over a gaping hole, stark naked.
~~~~~ "Lucky I brought her a change of clothes this time." QuiniBob smiled. Saines promptly dressed.
~~~~~ Amira glared at Eon, giving him, at the same time, a confused look. "What kind of strength?" Saines stared deep into the child.
~~~~~ "I have no idea. Ask Amira." Eon replied. Saines turned to the girl.
~~~~~ "I... uh... he would... make a fantastic son if you were a..." suddenly, Amira fell to the ground.
~~~~~ "Are you alright, daughter?" Saines asked.
~~~~~ "He will be a useful tool in your future... he will bring chaos and destruction... he will bring power and wealth... he is essential." Amira smiled.
~~~~~ "Bring him. Let's return to the castle. Forget about the rest of the people."
~~~~~ Eon raised Jesus into his arms, and they all headed back towards the castle. Iria stood at the front gate upon their arrival.
~~~~~ "Did I miss anything?" Iria smiled nervously.
~~~~~ Saines glared at her a moment. "Nothing important, my friend." she wrapped her arm around Iria, and together they walked inside.

Condolence

~~~~~ She had never been so on the edge. She twitched every time that any sound was heard. She screamed every time anything moved.
~~~~~ She was not well.
~~~~~ She recently killed one of the men from her past. She killed him. She was happy that she killed him. It meant that she had the power to face her fears, stare them in the eyes, and kill them.
~~~~~ She stripped the body of it's clothing, stole them for use, then threw the body into the river. That way, he would wash away, and never be able to get back to her.
~~~~~ Even though he was dead.
~~~~~ She was, however, finally free. This was something that showed promise. It meant that she would soon be able to get away from her past. Maybe travel over the sea.
~~~~~ That's what she wanted. She wanted to build a raft, travel over the sea, and land on an island where her hair could re-grow and she could be happy.
~~~~~ If she died along the way, it was really fine with her.

~~~~~ "Come on, Noo. You can't run forever."
~~~~~ "Don't plan to..."
~~~~~ That's when she killed him.
~~~~~ She sat over top of him, rolled a boulder over his head, and watched him get crushed and die. She killed him without mercy. Not that he didn't deserve it. He enslaved her.
~~~~~ He defiled her.
~~~~~ She sat beside the river, washing the clothes of the man who she'd killed. She didn't even remember his name anymore, not that she wanted to.
~~~~~ Rubbing vigorously to get his blood stains out, she began crying. Thinking about her past was too much for her. Way too much. She wouldn't be able to stand being enslaved again.
~~~~~ "Are you alright?" a woman's voice asked from behind her. Her mind became irrasional at that point.
~~~~~ 'It's the Empress', she thought, 'come to take me back', NooNoo flipped around, stick in hand, raising it to the woman's neck. "You won't get me, Empress!"
~~~~~ The woman raised her arms. "Please! I'm not the Empress!" she screamed. NooNoo looked to her face. She was right. Look at that. NooNoo dropped the stick, turned, and began to wash the clothing again. The woman crouched down beside her. "Do you need help getting those bloodstains out?"
~~~~~ "I dunno. You gonna KILL me?" NooNoo stared into her eyes. The woman shook her head. "Good. Then you can help me."
~~~~~ "My name is Elysa. And yours?"

~~~~~ NooNoo recalled back to when she was a child in the cells. She only ever had one friend. Her name was Issa. They were good friends, even though Issa started out as just an imaginary friend.
~~~~~ With the magic that Aslin has to offer, Issa manifested a real body, and NooNoo's friend finally had a form. There was finally someone that NooNoo could speak to in such a horrible place as Bonnerland.
~~~~~ Or so she thought.
~~~~~ Now that Issa was real, everyone could see her. And the Ogres proceeded to beat her. They beat her until she was just a bleeding mass.

~~~~~ "What is your name?" Elysa asked, staring into NooNoo's eyes.
~~~~~ "My name... they... they call me Noo... I suppose..." she started.
~~~~~ "Well, Noo. Is there anything I can do for you once I finish with the bloodstains...?" Elysa began.
~~~~~ "Why are you being so nice to me?" NooNoo was near crying already.
~~~~~ Taken aback, Elysa sat a moment. "Well... I... I just lost my home. I left for a few days... to go and see my family, make sure they were alright... then when I got back... my home was a hole. A mass in the ground. Nobody is there. Not even any bodies." Elysa replied.
~~~~~ "...So?" NooNoo asked.
~~~~~ "So... I know what it's like to be alone." Elysa responded.
~~~~~ She stood over Issa's bleeding body, crying. The Ogres began beating her down, but she actually lashed out, trying to get a few seconds more with her friend. They pulled her back.
~~~~~ They pushed her into her cell, locking the door. She watched through the bars. Watched what they were going to do with the body of her best friend.
~~~~~ She watched as the Ogres devoured her friend.

~~~~~ The two of them sat in silence a few moments. Neither of them even looking at each other.
~~~~~ "Thank you." NooNoo finally replied.
~~~~~ "You're welcome." Elysa replied.
~~~~~ "My last friend was killed..."
~~~~~ "I'll be sure to watch my back."
~~~~~ "Her body was eaten."
~~~~~ "Then I won't go to a barbeque."
~~~~~ "Good plan."
~~~~~ The two of them smiled as they continued washing the clothing in the river.
Falsified
~~~~~ She waited in front of his door, standing unmoving in the same spot. Nobody spoke to her as it looked as if she were ready to snap the neck of anything that moved in front of her. Looked as if she were ready to kill anything that breathed near her.
~~~~~ Finally the door opened, and she smiled. She walked toward it. Startled, Eon stood at his door a moment. She pushed him inside his room, and closed the door behind her. She stood at the door, staring at him a moment. Finally, she gave a creepy grin, and walked towards him.
~~~~~ "Good morning, Eon. Did you sleep well?" she spoke in such a tone that you knew if you interupted her you would soon die.
~~~~~ "As a matter of fact, yes. And you?" Eon answered gleefully.
~~~~~ "May I ask you something. About the child?" Amira inquired. Eon nodded in response. "Well. What the Hell? I never had such a vision."
~~~~~ Eon stood, "well, Amira. The child may have potential. I didn't want him to die, so I lied. Nothing that you yourself would not do, I'm sure. As I understand it... your family was killed..."
~~~~~ "You have no right to speak of my..." Eon raised his fingers to her lips, keeping them closed.
~~~~~ "I assumed you wouldn't want to see another innocent die at her hands. Would you?" she pushed him away from her. "I didn't think so."
~~~~~ "Tell me. What's so special about the boy?" she asked again.
~~~~~ "Nothing that I know of." Eon rebutted.
~~~~~ Amira gave a quick smug look. "Well, I hope you realise that now I will tell her of your treachery." she smiled, and began to head toward the door.
~~~~~ "I wouldn't expect any less from you. I just hope you realise that I'm a shape-shifter. I will assume your form and screw you over too. Be careful, Amira. And have a good day." she turned from the door, and glared at Eon once more.
~~~~~ She rested against the door a moment. She tried to think of anything that would help her out.

~~~~~ Just the night prior, it was Amira's duty to take Jesus to his new room. She lead him up the many staircases until they eventually reached the tower where his room was located.
~~~~~ "Can you tuck me into bed?" Jesus asked innocently. Amira rolled her eyes and followed him in.

~~~~~ "There's nothing special about a boy who's afraid of the dark and wets the bed." Amira retorted finally. She turned back to the door, attempting to leave. She was struck down to the ground, convulsing. Eon watched in confusion, wondering if there was anything he could do to help.
~~~~~ In a moment she returned to her feet, and smiled. She turned back to Eon. "Nevermind. I suppose I was just... quick in my decision." she turned to the door once more.
~~~~~ "Amira. Was that a vision?" Eon inquired. Amira slowly nodded yes. "Then tell me... did you see something involving Jesus? Is there... is he special?"
~~~~~ "No. He's completely normal." Amira smiled, opening the door.
~~~~~ "Don't hold out on me, Amira." she turned back, only to see Eon sitting on his bed, and transform into her. "You wouldn't want something bad to happen... would you?"
~~~~~ "I heard that there is an underground resistance somewhere. A group who is against the Empress. If we can find it, tell her and have her destroy it, that means that she would trust us more and..." Amira stated.
~~~~~ "Sorry, but I don't think that those rumours are true." QuiniBob responded as he walked away. "Give up, Amira. Just give up." Amira followed him as he turned the corner.
~~~~~ Once she turned the corner, she entered into the garden. Eon sat on a bench, staring up at the sky. She looked up.
~~~~~ QuiniBob was flying high overhead, heading in the opposite direction in which they had both just walked to turn the corner.
~~~~~ "You... have you been playing me all this time?" Amira asked, closing the door and re-entering the room.
~~~~~ "Well... some of it. Just when I wanted information. I would transform into QuiniBob, ask you questions, leave. Find QuiniBob, transform into you, ask questions. You two really aren't so secretive." Eon smiled.
~~~~~ "What do you want?" she asked quickly.
~~~~~ "I want for Jesus to live. If you hurt him, you'll have become everything that you seem to hate."
~~~~~ "You think I care about becoming what I hate? Whatever brings me power, I will accept."
~~~~~ "Fine. Just don't touch the boy. Tell Quini to do the same." Eon waved her goodbye, and Amira turned to leave once again. "Hey, wait!" Once again, Amira turned around.
~~~~~ "All this going back and forth is making me dizzy." Amira whined.
~~~~~ "What was your vision about Jesus? What's going to happen?"
~~~~~ "The vision... had Jesus standing atop the tower. He jumped into a vortex, and returned aged. He and the Empress began to destroy things... killing QuiniBob and Liepold. Killing Ongrios and Medea. Killing you."
~~~~~ Eon sat in silence a moment. "...thank you." Finally, Amira left the room and ran down the flights of stairs. She began searching the bottom floor, until finally she found QuiniBob.
~~~~~ "QuiniBob! I have to speak with you." Amira stated. She pulled into a side room, looking around and making sure there was nobody else about.
~~~~~ "What is it?" QuiniBob asked in confusion.
~~~~~ "I had a vision about the boy. He's going to bring to us the ultimate weapon of destruction... and we'll finally be able to assume power over the kingdom!" Amira exclaimed, trying to keep herself calm and quiet.
~~~~~ "Excellent! But I have to go and meet the Empress... or something. I'll check back with you later." QuiniBob replied. He began walking away. Amira noticed a strange step in his stride.
~~~~~ She watched as he walked away.
~~~~~ She noticed as he got into the distance, his hair turned from black and blue, to an orange-red colour.
Deterration
~~~~~ He stared deep into her eyes as she explained what was happening. He thought that she had the most beautiful eyes in existance. The green shone in the light, and they seemed as deep as the oceans.
~~~~~ Her hair flowed down past her knees. Her beautiful hair. So long, so soft. The silver of her hair shone in the daylight aswell. He admired her.
~~~~~ "Are you listening to me?" Amira questioned. QuiniBob nodded. "Alright. Anyway, as I was saying. Eon knows everything that we've been doing. There's no point in keeping any secrets from him anymore. We need to make a small group if we're going to take over and..."
~~~~~ "Who's in the small group?"
~~~~~ "Well. I'm working over on Liepold, and I've convinced him to work on Medea. The only tough spot is Eon... I really have no idea what side he's on, who he's working for, or what he plans to do."
~~~~~ "And what will we do with the kid?" QuiniBob asked disgruntledly.
~~~~~ "We need Jesus. He's all part of my revised plan. But, we can't risk hurting him in any way. Otherwise we'll be found out by Saines... because Eon will leak information. The bastard."
~~~~~ "Tell me your plan." QuiniBob demanded. Amira smiled.
~~~~~ "No. It's too risky to say anything as of now. When the time comes, you will know." Amira replied. "But don't worry. Nothing horrible will happen. If plan goes to plan, then everything will be wrapped up in a pretty little package."
~~~~~ "And we will be in power."
~~~~~ "Exactly."
~~~~~ "What do you plan to do with the Empress's new bitch? That Ongrios guy."
~~~~~ "I believe he's only looking to be near one in power. He'll come over to me when he feels that we've got the upper hand."

~~~~~ He stared at her, sitting outside in the garden. She blended in perfectly with all of the gorgeous flowers surrounding her. It was magnificent.
~~~~~ She would occasionally look up at his window, thinking that she saw someone there. Whenever she would, QuiniBob would duck away, making sure that she didn't see him. He didn't want her to know that he watched her.

~~~~~ "What do you mean by, 'he'll come over to me'. Are you suggesting that..." QuiniBob began.
~~~~~ "Don't worry, Quini. I'm not going to double-cross you." Amira smiled.
~~~~~ "Alright... can you tell me anything more about the vision that you had? How will be bring us the ultimate weapon? What do we have to do to make that vision come true?" QuiniBob questioned.
~~~~~ "I'm not sure... I just know that he will bring the ultimate weapon into our hands... the vision has already started, I believe... as long as we keep the vampire woman alive, it should come to pass."
~~~~~ "Vampire woman? I see... there's nothing else you can tell me?"
~~~~~"Well... the symbol for time continously popped into my mind... but I'm not sure what the vision means by that. What does time have to do with it?"

~~~~~ "QuiniBob watched from the distance. Trying to figure out what it was Amira was doing out of the castle so late at night. "Are you the one they call... Dré?" a voice asked from the bushes.
~~~~~ "Yes. I am Dré." Amira replied silently. QuiniBob watched in confusion. Amira continued, "Are you Alaya? The one from the underground that I can deal with?"
~~~~~ QuiniBob sat in shock. Amira, the one who he planned to help into power. The one who he wanted to love him. Was working with the resistance. Was she betraying him?
~~~~~ "Time, eh?"
~~~~~ "We'll figure it out. Don't worry. We will."
~~~~~ "Indeed." QuiniBob responded. He looked into the distance, then back to Amira. "How did you know where to find the underground?" Amira looked a little taken aback.
~~~~~ "I asked Ongrios."
~~~~~ "Then why didn't he lead us there?"
~~~~~ "Why are you interrogating me? What did I do?" Amira asked angrily.
~~~~~ "I was just wondering is all. I'll see you later, Amira." QuiniBob stood and left the room. He walked down the halls, up a few flights of stairs, and stood before a wooden door. He knocked.
~~~~~ The door opened, revealing Eon inside. "Oh. Hello, QuiniBob. Can I help you?" QuiniBob pushed passed Eon, and sat in a chair near the bed, he stared at the Changeling.
~~~~~ "How did you know where to find the underground's base?"
~~~~~ Eon gave it a little thought. "...Amira told me."
~~~~~ "What are you two not telling me? Are you two working together? Against me?"
~~~~~ "Not that I know of." Eon replied.
~~~~~ "Betray me, and the child dies." QuiniBob rushed from the room and stormed down the flights of stairs once more.
~~~~~ He exited the castle, going into the sunshine. He had to find the new base to the underground.
Closure
~~~~~ She snuck back towards the castle. Thanks to her powers, it was a dark and foggy night. Nobody would see her slip into her old room. All she needed was closure.
~~~~~ She blew the winds hard behind her, raising her steadily into the air. She reached her window, and climbed in, falling to the floor. She stood, looking around. Everything had been ransacked.
~~~~~ All of her things were on the floor, broken, destroyed. Nothing from her life at the castle remained whole. Nothing except for her memories. She looked towards the door. Beneath it she could see a ray of light. The lanterns of the hall were lit for the night.
~~~~~ Slowly, she creapt over and opened the door, peeking out. Nobody there, so she opened the door and steadily moved down the hall. Their room wasn't too far from her own. That's what the Empress had wanted.
~~~~~ She reached their door, and slowly opened it. She noticed that they were already asleep, but with someone approaching the hallway from the stairs, she quickly rushed in, closing the door silently behind her. She stared through the dark, allowing her vision to adjust.
~~~~~ She creapt over to the bed, and looked at their faces a moment. They did look like her real parents, but they couldn't be. They just couldn't be.
~~~~~ The flames soared into the air. They could feel the heat licking their bodies, even while they were so far away.
~~~~~ The screaming echoed through the air.
~~~~~ She began to slowly shake her mother, "mom. Wake up. I need to speak with you." Her mother opened her eyes, and looked over to Dré. She opened her mouth to say something, but Dré placed a hand over it before she could speak a word. "Mom... I won't be able to see you anymore. The Empress is out for my life." Her mother removed the hand from her mouth.
~~~~~ "My poor daughter."
~~~~~ "I need to ask one thing though... I just need some sort of closure on this situation." Dré stared into her mother's eyes. "How did you and dad survive the destruction of the kingdom?"
~~~~~ "It's simple. You see, your father and I escaped through the tunnels underneath the kingdom and..." Mom began. Dré began shaking her head.
~~~~~ "You're lying. I remember the tunnels. That isn't how you escaped. The tunnels collapsed in three years before the kingdom was destroyed. It was devastating to the miners, but there was nothing we could do. You and dad agreed to never re-open the tunnels... to never rebuild them because you wanted no more deaths..."

~~~~~ Thedad stood at a podium, hundreds of thousands of Faeries stood before him. Watching. Waiting to see what the king had to say.
~~~~~ "It is my worst fear that anything should ever happen to my people. It is my worst fear... that any of my children get hurt. I want to tell you... that I am sorry. One of my greatest fears has come to pass in the last twenty-four hours..."

~~~~~ "Please... how did you escape?"
~~~~~ "Well..." Mom began. She tried to think of any answer.
~~~~~ "I found your crown in the ruins of the kingdom." Dré stated. Mom began to speak. "But." Mom hushed herself before saying anything. "I also found it on your skeleton. Your dead body. You aren't my mother, and I can only assume that he isn't my dad. So tell me. How did you escape?"
~~~~~ Mom looked absolutely shocked. She also looked ashamed of herself. She sat up in the bed, looking at Dré. "You know... I do still have the memoried of your mother. I know that she loves you still. Even though she no longer lives." Tears began forming in both of their eyes. "The Empress... had abducted us one year before she destroyed the kingdom. She took genetic samplings from both me... from both your mother and father."
~~~~~ "You two are... clones?" Dré asked, now crying.
~~~~~ "The Empress created two perfectly healthy clones. And then once she accomplished that, she placed us in incubators and destroyed the kingdom."
~~~~~ "Why were you put into incubators?" Dré asked in confusion.
~~~~~ "You see, you can't clone an adult. When she cloned your parents, we were only babies. She put us in incubators to accelerate the aging process. We had eight years to grow older. With the incubators help, we aged about two and a half years every actual year." she explained.
~~~~~ "But that would make you, what... twenty years old? That's still a year younger than both myself and Eon." Dré pointed out. Mom nodded.
~~~~~ "That's where Iria's potions came in. It was just a while ago that the Empress saw the need to have us out and about, to distract you and Eon. Since we were both still in our prime, she had Iria concoct a potion to age us a few more years. All she wanted was for us to be older than you. After the potions we were about twenty-five. After the genetic tampering... we're about thirty-nine. That's when she decided to give us to you."

~~~~~ "M... Mom? Daddy?" she covered her face with her hands in wonderment.
~~~~~ "My children!" their mother stood before them. The parents who they thought were dead for the past eight years, were standing directly in front of them.
~~~~~ "Mom!" Eon screamed as he rushed over and hugged her. Their father walked over and gave Dré a tender hug aswell.
~~~~~ "Amazing..." Dré muttered.
~~~~~ "I'm so sorry for deceiving you..."
~~~~~ "Thank you... for the truth. Even though you aren't my mother... I want you and dad to know that I love you." Dré crouched over and hugged her mother's clone.
~~~~~ "I love you too... my child..." Mom started to cry. Finally, Thedad awakened, turning over and noticing that there were two women beside him blubbering like children.
~~~~~ "What's happening?" he asked sluggishly.
~~~~~ "She knows... everything... I told her..." the crying continued. Dré rushed to the other side of the bed, hugging her father's clone.
~~~~~ He hugged her tightly, stroking her hair, "I'm so sorry we had to do this, my little water lilly..."

~~~~~ Thedad crouched over her bed, kissing her forehead goodnight. "Sweet dreams, my little water lilly." Dré smiled and closed her eyes.
~~~~~ "Maybe I'll see you both again someday..." Dré released her hug, and stepped towards their window. "Goodbye."
~~~~~ "Farewell, child."
~~~~~ "Be careful." Thedad whispered.
~~~~~ "Sweet dreams."
