My Vampire Mythology

This is partially inspired by Vampire: the Masquerade, but of course I've put my own mind to work here. Each Tribe is associated with an Element; Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and the Spirit, and they also take on characteristics of their Element. Read on and enjoy.
"Money makes the world go 'round..."

Rey - worldly goods and posessions, materialistic, money counts, yearn for power and prestige, high status, high society, urbane, aloof, egotistical, elitist, petty
on the Scholars:
Too wrapped up in books. Knowledge for it's own sake is not profitable, it's what is done with knowlegde that can gain one an advantage. Potential allies when the need is great enough.
on the Feral:
While sex is pleasureable and can be an excellent tool for swaying others, it is not to be a way of life as they would have it. They are far too unpredictable to be trusted.
on the Tuned:
Emotion is a weakness and can be detrimental to any sort of achievement. Such attachement to anything ensures its eventual loss. Again, their lack of consistency makes them too great a liability.
on the Superstitione:
Religion is pointless. Everything that once could have been Divine is dead. They waste their time in such pursuits. But, we must admit, their faith can be used to our advantage if necessary.
on Humans:
They are so like us in many ways, preying on them is far too easy. They are easily swayed by our lifestyle, they are entertainment.

"Knowledge is Power"

Scholars - knowledge, hermits, higher learning, mental pursuits, evangelizing knowledge, correction, enlightenment of themselves and others, scientific, rigid, cold
on the Rey:
Consumed with money and percieved power. Knowledge is the only way to truly gain anything. They are simply too unenlightened to even exploit for any reason.
on the Feral:
Animals - plain and simple. Such constant physical pleasure only harms the mind, breeding stupidity and ignorance. Far too dense to be useful.
on the Tuned:
They have no sense of reason. Emotions only cloud judgement and logical thinking, weaken the mind. However, intuition such as theirs could have potential.
on the Supersitione:
They search for truth, and we admire that, but it is the wrong truth. Religion is opposite to knowledge. If they could but be persuaded to join our quest they would be much more suitible allies, but as it stands if the need should arrive they are regrettably the only option.
on Humans:
Humans drown themselves in such harmful practices that is is a shame and a source of disgust that we must feed from them. They are stupid and indulgent, the worst characteristics of the other tribes rolled together into one mockery of a species.

"Give yourself over to absolute pleasure..."

Feral - passionate, sexual, animalistic, beastly, wild, pleasure, "sins of the flesh," primal instincts and desires, sensual, aggressive, domination/submission, intensity
on the Rey:
Money is not a lifestyle but a tool. Only by succumbing to our most basic desires and learning how to use them can any of us get anywhere in this world. They have the potential if they could forget about their comforts (and their clothing) for five minutes.
on the Scholars:
Too much though and not enough action, they completely miss the physical aspect of their "search for truth." We do not condemn entirely, but instead greive the wasting of their bodies.
on the Tuned:
Emotion can play a vital role in sexuality and vice versa. They seem to miss this point. More unrealized potential.
on the Superstitione:
They do not object to the sexual as the other tribes do, but it has nothing to do with so-called "sprituality." A little misguided, but the possibilities are well worth exploring.
on Humans:
While their greed grates on us like the Rey, they are inhereantly sexual and easily drawn to us. Feeding on them is a joy.

"Love Conquers All"

Tuned - artistic, emotions, passive, music, poetry, mood swings, matters of the heart, courtly love, idealistic, bipolar, extremes of emotion with no middle ground
on the Rey:
Money cannot bring happiness or any other pure emotion, they think they have found an answer but really they have only found an escape. As allies their resolve is too easily swayed when a "better offer" comes along.
on the Scholars:
The only necessary knowledge is that of emotion and feelings. Intuition is far more valuable than learning. We are at two ends of the spectrum and our goals are far too different for any sort of cooperation.
on the Feral:
They twist emotion to use to for their own ends. They claim that emotion and sexuality can go hand-in-hand, but that is unshakeably incorrect. But, they do seem to value emotion in some form, so in a pinch a tentative alliance could possibly be forged.
on the Superstitione:
They go on intuition which we respect, but they place their efforts in the wrong sphere. Creativity instead of religion would benefit them more. They are not a hopeless cause.
on Humans:
Humans twist emotion in a sickening way against each other, but they are easily swayed and prone to its control. They are suitible prey.

"Oh night thou was my guide...beyond such mortal sight ..."

Superstitione - spiritual, religion, supernatural concerns, occult, Divine revelations, beliefs, faith, ritual, communion with the Divine or spiritual, exclusion of science
on the Rey:
Far too dominating and power-hungry. They do not realize that the only "power" is that of the Divine, and while we on this planet can channel it, but we cannot weild it. They simply do not understand, and so are not worth the trouble.
on the Scholars:
Knowledge and learning leads to revelation but it is only one stone on the path. Their science strives to disprove what we know to be true, and unfortunately that negates their potential.
on the Feral:
We are not against sexuality, but we do believe in moderation. They take physical pleasure much too far. If they could be convinced of its inhereant sacredness, they would make for valuable allies.
on the Tuned:
Intuition is an important part of our practices, however to be consumed by emotion leads to a troubled Spirit. Very much like the Feral, they are not completely lost.
on Humans:
Some of them reject religion, some see it as a necessity. Some follow blindly, some question and are therefore wise in their ways. We have to be selective in who we choose to feed from.
