Welcome from the Aspring Knights Guild. We are a group of Iowa fighters dedicated to pushing our skill and service to Belegarth. We are training to develop the first knights in Iowa Belegarth. For more information, go to About us and The Code of the AKG. New Announcements Old Announcements At Sept `02 AKG practice we had a big meeting with a lot of changes. These changes have been updated and added to The Code. A few other less formal things were decided upon as well: "Cored shield" was changed to "strapped shield" in the proficiency section. "Polearm" proficiency is inclusive only of a spear (stabby tip, no swung strike surface) for testing purposes. Rules on head shots delivered in challenges: If the challenger delivers 2 of their fault, they forfeit the whole match. If the defender delivers 2 of their fault, it is up to the participants of the match to decide a reprocussion. Camber's proposition for members to do a vigil or test of will before they are knighted was brought up. It was decided that this will not formally be written in as a requirement however if you wish to do a personal test you're welcome to. Wards are allowed to participate in AKG practices. Everyone should feel they can talk to any other member of the group in an honest fashion like at the meeting.
