Thursday 24.6.04 | WHEW, almost through first week at work already. Not a great deal to report - nice people, cool job with occasional patches of complete madness ('Mark, we need 8 native German speakers for one day's temping tomorrow - means we'll have to interview them all today: can you get on the phone and round them up in the next hour?'), so rah. Not liking the early mornings, but I'm sure I'll get used to that... Saturday 26.6.04 MAYBE it's because I certainly had one too many at last night's work do (whoops, first night out with colleagues and got a little bit trashed, oops), but I distinctly remember thinking: 'Note to self: these people are REALLY NICE. STAY HERE.' I think I've found a nice job :-) Tuesday 29.6.04 WELL, wasn't that fucking lovely of you, whoever it was who helped themselves to £1000 from my bank account at the weekend. To say I'm livid would be to wonder if Joan of Arc liked matches. | ||
