My name, as far as the internet is concerned, is Alisso. A few other people know me as Catherine, but I answer more to Alisso these days. I was born in 1981(I'm not going to bother putting in my age cause that'll mean I have to remember to change this every year - if you can't work it out, get a calculator), in Penrith, and I haven't moved far since.

I have one mother, one brother and two half-sisters (both have long since moved out). I have no pets :( and the closest we've ever had to a pet was two yabbies we had to take when one of my half-sisters moved to England (one of which died, so we bought a replacement, which tried to eat the other one, then died. The one that was half-eaten grew massive, then died as well because my brother never cleaned it's tank...it's probably a good thing we have no pets).

I successfully finished Primary School and High School (with only slightly higher than average levels of mental trauma), and started uni only to decide I was doing the wrong course.

Right now, I'm signed to an agency that's meant to find me temporary data entry work, but they frequently don't have any for me, leaving me unemployed and poor. My ideal job, right now, is something in the media. But I don't know what and I'm not sure why.

I'm interested in a lot of things. I read a lot (sci-fi/fantasy and comedy are my favourite genres - right now I'm revisiting Tamora Pierce's work, and still suffering from a mild addiction to the Harry Potter books), I write (all sorts of weird stuff, and an online journal), I sew from time to time, I have been known to be interested in history (mainly ancient), politics (mainly in a negative way), misery (in general), and astronomy; I love comedy, and have a passing interest in website design.

I am a lot of things. I am a female, a Wiccan, a Suicidal Fish, an Australian, a mild feminist, a MOSHer, a Sydney MOSHer a social phobia sufferer, a dag, and there are people who could tell you more things that I am, but don't listen to them.

I started this website because every good TV show needs a fanbase, and every fanbase needs a website to visit. And the ABC haven't started an official site for The Glass House yet, so I thought I'd build one. After all, I have the time, I have the equipment, and I have the knowledge - I figured I might as well! Besides, it's nice to know I'm the first person to set up a big site to something like this. And because I'm starting early, I stand a chance of keeping the page up to date, and having all the possible information on it. The page will grow as the information increases, instead of my usual situation with webpages, where I'm desperately searching through piles and piles of information that's available all over the net, trying to decide what's worth putting on the page. I'll get to this stuff as it arrives :)
