You
Are the Sunshine of My Life
by CarrieGlitter
Juliet
was in her sitting room drinking tea. When she had gotten to Rio she
rented a house as far away from civilization as possible. She had no
need for people, no need for friends, they'd only turn on her. That
bastard! That sneaky bastard! All her work and she was left with
nothing!
She was living off her savings which were almost gone. It wouldn't be too long before she'd have to get a job, and all her schooling was useless down here.
She had no one to blame but herself. Alex would have split the money with her, she was sure of that. He would have even split it with David had she given him the chance. For Alex, it was never about getting all the money, it was about not getting his fair share. When David flipped out he had hidden the money for their security, hers as well as his.
He was a sweet man, she really did care for him. So why had she done it? Because she cared for him too much. She had fallen in love with him and she couldn't have that. Nothing good ever came out of love. She'd been hurt before and wouldn't let herself be hurt by him. Still, she couldn't help but wonder if he was alright.
She got up and headed toward the kitchen. There were vegetables that had to be chopped and put away so she set to doing that. Alex, once again, crossed her memory. His long silken tresses, that soft skin, those supple lips. How she wished she had kissed him just once, just to know what it felt like.
Juliet's ears perked up. Was that a noise she'd heard or just her mind playing tricks on her? She clutched the knife in her hand and walked into the sitting room. She had left the porch doors open but it was too dark for her to see out.
"Is someone there?" she shouted.
"But soft," a voice said, "what light through yonder window breaks?"
"Who are you?"
"It is the east."
"Show yourself!"
The man stepped into the dimly lit sitting room, "and Juliet is the sun."
"Alex?" Her eyes went wide with the sight of him.
"Fair Juliet," he said, extending his handing and slowly walking toward her.
She raised the knife above her head, "Stop right there!"
Alex laughed, "I'm not here to hurt you."
"Oh no? Why then?"
"I came because I love you. I've always loved you."
"Stay where you are, Alex! I'll kill you, I swear!"
"Let me be taken, let me be put to death. I am content so thou wilt have it so."
"I mean it Alex, I'll do it!"
Alex kneeled at her feet and unbuttoned the first few buttons of his shirt, baring his chest to her, "Come death and welcome, Juliet wills it so."
"Why are you doing this Alex?"
"I love you Juliet, I can't hide that fact, not anymore."
"Lair! You're here because of what I did. You want revenge."
"Revenge? Me? Juliet I don't care about that. Alright, yes, at first I was pissed at you but I'm over that. I know why you did it Juliet, you were crazed with greed, it could happen to any of us. But you didn't kill me, and that proves that you love me."
"I don't love you! I hate you! I could kill you right now!"
"My life were better ended by hate than death prorogued wanting of thy love."
Juliet's eyes welled with tears. "Why do you say such things, Alex?"
"I can't help it," he said, standing and taking her face in his hands.
"When I look at you my world turns to poetry and music. When I don't look upon you my days are spent silent and empty. You are what gives my life beauty."
"No, you can't be serious."
"My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand to smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss."
Their lips met, softly at first, then deep and passionate. Juliet was overcome by emotion. She released the knife, which fell to the chair at her side. Her knees gave out and Alex caught her. Slowly, they lowered themselves to the floor. Alex pulled Juliet's shirt over her head. Her chest heaved in the humid night air. He removed her bra, her nipples were pink and hard. He took one into his mouth, tasting her for the first time.
Juliet's moans filled the tiny space. She tangled her fingers into his hair. His lips, so delicate, brushed over her most secret places. She felt his hand slip under the drawstring of her pants and into her panties. His fingers traced over her swollen mound. She clutched to him, completely lost with desire.
He broke himself free only long enough to remove their remaining clothing. The night was warm, and sweat shown on their bodies. He laid himself on top of the glistening body and met his mouth to hers. Their lips met, opening softly to let tongues caress each other.
Their hips rocked, cuddling their pelvises together, and for once Juliet's love and desire out weighed any fear of intimacy. She clung to her lover, squeezed herself around him and loved every ripple of sensation that his touch created in her. A moan escaped her lips, and she felt as if the power of her orgasm would be enough to break her in two. It wasn't until her screams of pleasure had stopped that she realized Alex was no longer inside of her, having spent his seed and rolled onto the floor.
When she recovered, she once again had the courage to speak. "Alex, what about the money?'
He placed a finger to her lips and gave her that captivating smile of his, "What's mine is yours, always. All that money would be nothing to me, if I didn't have you to share it with. But we will talk more in the morning. Sleep dwell upon thine eyes, peace in thy breast." With a kiss to her eyes and chest he lay down beside her and they both drifted into sleep.

Juliet awoke with a start. What was that incredible pain in her shoulder? She tried to move but couldn't. She opened her eyes to see Alex sitting on her chest, smiling brightly.
"Morning. Hope you don't mind, but I borrowed your knife."
Juliet looked at her shoulder and screamed. The knife she had dropped on the chair the night before was stuck through her, pinning her to the floor.
"Alex," she panted, "What? Why?"
"Because you're a lying, theiving bitch, that's why."
"But what about last night?"
"Last night?" he laughed. "You mean the shag? That was nothing more than payment for the night I had to spend lying in a pool of David's blood. You thought you were so smart with your plans to take the money and run! You should have seen yourself last night! A few lines from Shakespeare and you were putty in my hand." He threw is head back and cackled with glee.
"What are you going to do, Alex?"
"Well, what I have to. Tie up all my loose ends. Get rid of the evidence."
"Kill me? You can't Alex!"
"And why not?"
"You'll never get away with it. They'll find you out. Didn't you learn anything from this whole mess?"
"Oh yes, this time I'll make sure the grave is much deeper." Juliet was desperately pleading with him, saying anything to try and get him to let her go but Alex didn't listen. "Where should we start?" He said, as reached out and grabbed a mallet out of his bag. "Ah yes, remove the teeth."
"Alex, no, you don't have to do this Alex!!!"
He raised the mallet high over his head and gave a broad smile to the woman below him, "Dry sorrow drinks our blood. Adieu, adieu."
