Chapter 2
"So, did you get the car fixed Angel?" Mike asked her, sturnly.
"Yeah, and am I ever glad it is a company car. I'd hate to be stuck with the bill." Angel grinned evily, then threw the bill in front of Mike.
"What the hell was wrong that you had to spend 400 fucking dollars on getting repaired!" Mike exclaimed.
"The alignment was off, new break pads, spark plugs needed changing. Plus the tire rotation and labour costs." Angel said, walking towards her office.
"Don't you think that you will be getting off that easy." Mike yelled after her.
"And don't think I won't hestitate moving right back up to New York. Remember, I can just pack my bags and leave with out telling you." Angel returned a glare then slammed the door.
"That is the last time I get a girl reporter." Mike sighed, sliding down in his chair.
"I heard that Mike!" Angel yelled. She was recruted almost 2 weeks ago from New York to be an entertainment reporter in Orlando, due to the fact that there was more gossip here then there was at a grandmother's tea gathering. Luckly, she was on her own contract, so she had a lot of say in what she reported on.

After his meeting, Nick returned home, but almost and hour after he had projected. He pulled up his drive and looked. Luckliy, Brian was still there. Nick got out of his car and walked up to the door.
"Hello? ANyone home?" Nick asked, softly.
"Hey Nick." Brian said adn then walked out to meet his friend. "How come you're late?"
"Someone's car broke down, then i was late for my meeting." Nick sighed, taking off his sneakers.
"Oh. Someone was a little anxious to see you." Brian chuckled.
"Where is she?" NIck's face emidatly broke into a smile and his bad day was forgotten.
"Up stairs, asleep." Brian said.
Nick stood up and practically ran up the stairs and into the first room on the left. He opened the door and there was who he was out to see.
"Melly? Are you awake Melissa?" Nick asked, walking into the room.
"Dadda!" The small blonde giggled reaching here arms out to her father.
