Mikey
Robins was born in Newcastle on November 8 1961. He joined a comedy trio in
the late 80's called 'The Castanet Club' which also had fellow GNW cast
member
The Sandman
in it. There is a copy of a video tape of Mikey and Paul hosting Rage, in which
Mikey actually plays a song called "By the Mill" which was
performed by the band. He has hosted the Triple
J breakkie show with Paul
McDermott and has appeared on McFeast's 'Live and Sweaty'.
He has also co-written a book with Steven Abott (Sandman) and Tony Squires from
'...the Fat' which is available through
the ABC. Mikey now hosts a spot on Triple
M called 'Mikey's Big Lunch'.
