Jatei's Review of Oracle of Seasons

Welp, I've gotta say this is one of the most original games I've come across, and probably one of the best. So let's get an idea what this game's like. It seems to use a more advanced engine of Link's Awakening. Some little advances I'll add. When you're in a large room in a dungeon the screen actually scrolls with you instead of doing that go to edge and woosh thing. Also you can now break pots with your sword instead of throwing them now, woopy. There's many other new features that kind of relate to your abilities in the 64.

Ok now for like a story wise review this game is interesting since the story isn't to good and doesn't do much with it between the beginning and the end of the game. The beginning and end are something though. It appears that Hyrule is now in posession of the full Triforce again, something I can only fit into the story line as after LttP or after ZII. Either way that's a pretty interesting area in the series to add a new game but that doesn't really matter.

This game is just great with the items and weapons department I've only played Seasons currently and not Ages yet, but I've got half of the very unique items in the game and they kick ass. You get an upgrade to the boomerang that just doesn't go further and faster. You can actually make it go in the direction you want in mid-air. The magnetic gloves too those are new, but probably a replacment for the hookshot. Either way it makes some new puzzles to solve by moving steel balls around and latching onto moving gears then repelling yourself away. There's many more but that I'm gonna leave as a surprise. I guess there's not much else to say about this game alone so I'll have to wait until I can get my hands on Ages.
