OK, first off, I know that Smash Brothers isn't really a Zelda game, but because Link and Zelda are in it, I belive it deserves some recognition. I also think it's too late to start a section for the original, so this area will be about the upcoming sequal for gamecube, SSB Melee. Here I'll showcase my meager amount of Link/Zelda/Sheik screenshots, and then info, and maybe a bit of strategy when the game is relesed.

| 10/23/01- Its been a while, but I'm updating now: 1st off, the character bio thing has been canceled (sorry, we'll have those up when we get a hold of the game). Second, Gannondorf will be a character! Although a secret one, as Sheik will be to, he'll be in the game nonetheless! |

| 8/22/01- OK, here's the scoop, I haven't foudn this on ANY other sites, so I'm pretty sure this'll be new to you; I have just found out, from what I've seen, that there'll be a termina battel arena in Melee. Don't belive me? Go to e3.nintendo.com and watch the longer of the 2 SSB movies, when you get to Samus' part, pause and go through bit by bit, until you spot the farmiliar characters and shape of a Zelda64 sign. Look around, what do we see? The suisidal moon, the sea shore, and it appers Samus is preforming her flamethrower attack top the platform of the labratory (or whatever building is off the shore). I'm still attempting to turn this into a screenshot of sorts, if anyone else has info on this, please email me. |
| 8/21/01- Today will mark the begining of a 10 week period in which every week one or more Melee characters will be featured, each with a complete report, move list, and any screen shots we can scrounge up. This weekend we should have Mario, Peach, and Yoshi up, and following them will be Kirby & Donkey Kong, the rest of the order will remain TBA. |
