Oz as he's known to us is a senior at Sunnydale High School when we first meet him. He's the lead guitarist of the Bronze's house band Dingoes Ate My Baby.

The first few times we see him on screen he's trying to find out who Willow is. Soon they become an item. He then discovers that he's a werewolf, bitten by his baby cousin, but only for three nights of the month. Him and Willow get into serious dating but Willow blows it all when she shares a long delayed kiss with Xander - and Oz and Cordelia walk in.

Soon Oz gave Willow abother chance though but afterwards in university he became involved with a another werewolf, Veruca. He killed Veruca when in hs werewolf form and was about to do the same to Willow when Buffy came in with a tranquliser gun. He left her and went on the road to find his cure.

Later he did come back and was able to control his condition but Willow had a new person in her life and she chose Tara over Oz. He left again and time will only tell if he returns again.
