OSBORN, Larry
Larry C. Osborn, 62 years, of Temperance, MI, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, in Flower Hospital, Sylvania, OH. A life long farmer he worked his family farm selling produce at the Farmers Market where he was well known for his green and yellow waxed beans. For 30 years he worked as an assembler for the Jeep Corporation retiring in 1992. He also enjoyed raising pigs. The son of Henry and Fern (Scofield) Osborn Jr., he was born, September 22, 1941, in Temperance, MI. A 1959 graduate of Bedford High School, he played in the Bedford Band under the direction of Charlie Holmes. On June 22, 1963 he married Nancy Ann St. Arnoud in St. Joseph's Catholic Church Sylvania, OH. She preceded him in death on June 4, 1997.
Larry was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Temperance, the F.F.A., and UAW Local #12.
He is survived by his loving sons, Shawn M. Osborn, Michael K. Osborn, and Matthew D. Osborn. He also was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Nancy Jo and Linda Sue.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2 till 9 p.m. in the Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI, where the Rosary will be prayed Friday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:15 a.m. in the Chapel with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony's Catholic Church celebrated by the pastor, Rev. Greg Deters with interment in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family or St. Anthony's Church. |
