Are We A Builder Or A Wrecking Crew
10 little Witnesses, standing all in line,
1 shunned the Elders, then there were nine.
9 little Witnesses, staying up too late,
1 missing meetings, then there were eight.
8 little Witnesses, pleasing God in Heaven,
1 took the broad road, then there were seven.
7 little Witnesses, with different music picks,
1 chose to rap, then there were six.
6 little Witnesses, seemed so much alive,
1 drifted off, then there were five.
5 little Witnesses, going door-to-door,
1 stopped in sharing, then there were four.
4 little Witnesses, each busy as a bee,
1 got hurt feelings, then there were three.
3 little Witnesses, knew not what to do,
1 joined the world, then there were two.
2 little Witnesses, the rhyme is nearly done,
1 fought the other, then there was one.
1 little Witness, can't do much it's true,
Began a Bible Study, then there were two.
2 earnest Witnesses, found a couple more,
With twice the former number, now there were four.
4 zealous Witnesses, made a study date,
And each won another, then there were eight.
8 splendid Witnesses, if doubled as before,
Will be in several months.........1,024!
Having read this little jingle, one thing is
surely true...
We're either part of the building ......or the
wrecking crew!
