Don't all religions worship the same God?

A Diference In Deities

In the world, more belief systems exist than one could ever know, ranging from esoteric ideas to widespread tenets. No matter what one believes, it is a thought among many that:

"All religions ultimately worship the same God."

While it provides a sense of solace for those who wish to remain spiritually ambivalent, nothing could be farther from the truth. God, that being His name and title, is completely alone in His divinity.

" 'The Lord Almighty is the one you are
to regard as holy,
he is the one you are to fear,
he is the one you are to dread.' "(Isaiah 8:13)

" 'They provoked me to anger by burning incense and by worshipping other gods that neither they nor you nor your fathers ever knew.' "(Jeremiah 44:3)

All religions have different names for their respective deities, whether it be Allah, Hecate, Set or Anubis; none of which are codenames for the God of Judeo-Christian renown. God declares Himself that there is just one Lord and it is He. Also, all religions could never be mistaken for seperate paths to God, for they all fall short on this one crucial point, if not several; that being the way of the messiah, Jesus Christ.

" 'Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.' "(John 3:18)

The most important concept in matters of God and salvation is surely the life and sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus was and is the only way for people to reach God and join Him. If all other religions were really paths to God, then wouldn't it be imperative to include Jesus Christ in all of them? There could be no hope for an afterlife, no hope for paradise, Heaven or Summerland, if Christ was not present and the cornerstone of all belief. He is the Way to God, the only existing God we could ever put our hope in.
