Still with me, or completely lost? Hang on, just a little bit more to go. the next section introduces the role of animals in this world and the artists' pallette world. Step into the light Carolanne. . . .

Allow me to take advantage of this section to also clump in theories about ghosts, spirits, perhaps even psychics.
What I can offer you about these individuals is this: Let's say that not every soul chooses to participate in every realm. perhaps the last existence was too trying. There's no gaurantee that every world was a good one. Fear has to come from somewhere and my bet is that it came from worlds where demons did roam the earth and night was eternal.
So you have a group that stays behind and views what we put ourselves through from a distance. Muses may filter in just to give us hope and some insight into who we really are--thus giving us more reason to tough it out here and realize it's all a learning experience. Spirits may hover to help keep watch over us and keep us out of trouble. They may communicate through dreams or visions. As for psychics, maybe they know so much just to offer guidance to those who cannot remember. They choose to return, but to do it with the knowledge of our origins, just to offer an added hand.
This is all very important to the function of our immortal souls. Like in What Dreams May Come, our minds are forever the most strongest element of US. Because we sink into this dream-world so fully and entirely, we run the risk of having it become so real we may never awaken from it. We run the risk of having everyone else figure out the actual order of things, but we, ourselves, will continue to live out in this world, forever alone because we refuse to let go of the image and return to the basic.
Having elementals such as muses, psychics, and spirits, helps to guide us from this extreme and keep just one piece of us still linked to our core selves in the astral plane. It keeps enough of us open and aware of who we are to be able to one day manifest an end scenario powerful enough to propel us all back into our natural existence.
