History
Clift McCall began his career working for and then leading the family business in Goldsboro, NC. After fifteen years when Wayne Wholesale Grocery Company was sold, Clift along with his wife Susan decided to pursue their dream of starting their own business. Clift’s good friend has owned and operated a successful rental company in Louisiana since 1983. Clift and Susan researched the need in our area and then learned everything they could from his friend’s many years of experience and success. Modeled after the Louisiana rental business, Ram Rent-All opened on Fedelon Trail in Goldsboro, NC in April of 1995.
Bringing with him ten years of rental experience, Garry Bunn was eager to join in Clift and Susan’s venture. Garry added his expertise and shared in the vision of making Ram Rent-All the premier provider of rental sales and service in our area, always committed to taking care of its customers.
Susan has been an integral part of Ram Rent-All since its beginning. She was the driving force in creating the Party Rental division and handles all the accounting needs of the company.
Clift’s dad taught him that an important key to being successful is surrounding yourself with good people. Clift, along with Garry and Susan have used this philosophy in building Ram Rent-All. All of the employees hired, several of whom had originally worked at Wayne Wholesale, have been chosen carefully and with much consideration. The exceptional people at Ram Rent-All have played an important role in the company’s growth and success. Today Ram Rent-All has grown from just three employees in the first store to over thirty employees in three locations. Ram Rent-All opened its second store in Clayton, NC in 2000 and acquired the Goldsboro store on Berkeley Blvd. in 2005.
