My Schwinn Bicycle

I have been wanting a schwinn bicycle for a long time. In Minnesota I saw bicycles all the time in alleys, dumpsers, on the side of the road, and people's trash. I was hoping to get one when I moved to Texas. So when I got down here I looked along the side of the road, in dumpsters, and peoples trash. Did I find one...NO. I was very disappointed! So I started looking at pawn shops and stuff, because they would put the bicycles that they had out in front so you could see what kind they had. Did I find one...No! So when we dicided to move to Florida, I figured that I would find one there. Did I find one...I don't know because I haven't moved yet. Then Sat. the 9th we were doing our normal Sat. errands, driving by the same old pawn shops, and like always I looked and so did Christina (because I got her to look as well). Then I caught a glimpse of a red bike that look kind of like a schwinn bicycle, because it has that top tube arch. I asked Christina to confirm what I saw, and she wasn't sure. So I figured it would be better to turn around, then to lose my dream bike. So I did a U-turn and there it sat...a red Schwinn cruiser! I think I started to drool, but I knew I had to act fast. I went in and talked to the worker and at first he thought I liked another schwinn outside that was a bit trashy and said it was $49. I asked him again, just to make sure we were on the same page, and he said "oh, that schwinn?". I answered him and he was surprised, because he didn't think that I would want an "old bicycle", but little did he know that it was exactly what I wanted. So he said he would let me have it for $29...I jumped and smiled....I got my schwinn bicycle!

It's a 1978 Schwinn Varsity.
