Our 1st Anniversary

Well, we made it! Our anniversary was on March 17...does that date sound familliar to you? It should, it's St. Patricks Day. We woke up about 12:00 and then got ready to go. We wanted to go eat and decided to go to The BrickHaus Cafe. When we would drive by it Christina always mentioned she would like to go there, but Will always said no, but we decided to go anyway. We're glad we did too, they had a Celtic band playing and the atmoshpere was great. People were drinking beer and coffee and kids were dancing...it was fun. We ordered an ice coffee and a chicken sandwich with cucumber dressing. It was really good and cheap too. Then we checked in to the Bed and Breakfast that was here in Denton, named Heritage Inns, we stayed at the Pecan House. We took a nap and then went out for chinese food. Since we had chinese at our reception a year ago, we decided to have chinese every year on our anniversary, and eat it with the chop sticks that has our name and date on it, that we gave to everyone on our wedding day. It sounds corny, but whatever, everyone has some sort of corny tradition. Anyway, after dinner, we wanted to do something else, like bowling or something, but we didn't feel like bowling. So we went to Fry St (which is about the only street that has anything "punk" to do or close to it). We walked in to the Kharma Cafe and Christina wanted a sprite, and Will wanted a mocha, and when we went to order, Will's old high school friend worked there. We talked for a little and then ordered and she gave us our beverages for free (which was really nice of her). We just talked a little bit more about our past, and future and then left. Back at our room, we sat in the hot tub, which felt really good. That was our anniversary, and it was a good anniversary for being our first.
