Heelflip

The heelflip, the long lost brother of the kickflip. However, in many cases, it may be easier to pull, and it might look much nicer as well. A very fun move, maybe easier to learn than the kickflip.

Heelflip:

  • Place your back foot on the tail, and your front foot in the middle of the board. Your front foot's toe shouldn't be hanging off the edge, just on the tip.
  • Pop the tail and flip the board really fast, that was it stays under you when it completes the flip.
  • Don't forget to jump really high!
  • The landing shouldn't be too hard after you practice a while.

[Tips: If you aren't comfortable after a while of trying to flip it, try hanging your toes off a little, or putting your foot in the middle. Try different things, the method we put up is just recommended. Don't forget to jump!]
