Guess how much this 4 door sedan sold for..........................

Found this photo while looking for something
else. As I recall, this 57-2711 belonged to the Huntington Beach police
officer, and was taken during a local Cruise...
If you look close, the things that make this coupe stand out
are all NOS chrome, a $15,000 custom paint job by Jeff's Paint (of Huntington
Beach), and a flawless rust-free body. Not so obvious is your typical R&R Eng'g
455, TH-200-4R, 3.42 Saf-T-Trak, and a two-tone vinyl interior patterned after
one of Dick Hoyt's '57 Star Chiefs...
Bill Fortune offered up a similar sedan belong to a friend
some month's back. However, I'd completely forgotten about this car, which was
sold for $......K recently, and people fought over it. This might be
understandable with a '57 Bonneville, but certainly not with a no-frills
sedan...
Enjoy!
