7.4.11 : mobi`dahon`shell

7.5.8:
. this page should be read only in parallel with mobi`dog.guard
which contains all the anti-pest systems
for both the driver` and cabin` shell .

fender

7.1.24: proc"fender installation

. . the back fender can be installed by
removing the back forks and then laying on the wheel before reinstalling the back forks,
and bolting the fender in whatever way can be found for this unintended positioning
(the dahon is reclined 45degrees while the fender should keep its previous position)
[2.6: . later it becomes apparent that the fender`s intended position on the back forks is sufficient]

7.2.11: quick-asm tech:

. I was having to consider the easiest way to apply get some sure fasteners in a small bolt.hole
and decided to just nix the bolts, and use a tab&slot tech:
made it springy and with ends of rods facing outward, so the fit into the bolt.holes
and stayed there under the spring action,
without getting in the way of the dog.guard anchor
. the rod was very brittle, and I broke it 3 times before getting the tabs I needed .

proc:

. one tab has a hook in it, and has to be removed last
. also, before that can be moved, the hook must be straightened out,
or the entire rod must be unmounted from the fender .

7.3.13: soft.top

. like the porta.powerstation:
the design starts with a plastic poncho
but had a neck structure that would let you look down and see the laptop
. the neck structure would not be a mere hole tho';
it would have a clear plastic panel covered with anti fog (glycerine?)
both to keep the heat on your hands,
and keep the ozone out of your face .
