SAVE THE CHILDREN (STC) is the youth outreach ministry of Great Commission Ministries International. This multi-faceted ministry was founded out of a great need in the inner-city of Nassau Bahamas among children considered to be high risk and dysfunctional. As a result of numerous single parent families where mothers raise children without the father living in the home, various social problems have resulted in the children being involved in a number of negative activities. STC was organized to make an impact on the lives of children ages 5-19 and was founded in 1991 as Children of Destiny before the club was renamed and restructured for greater effectiveness. Hundreds of children from the inner-city and throughout New Providence have been assisted and ministered to through the many outreaches and services provided by SAVE THE CHILDREN. In addition to finances that are needed to meet the budget and achieve the goals, STC is in need of computers, two (2) large buses for transporting the children, a delivery van, musical instruments, spotting equipment, desks, chairs, televisions, video recorders, DVD's and two (2) overhead projectors.

Save the Children meetings are held as follows:
Friday 8:00 p.m. Ages 13-19
Saturday 10:00 a.m. Ages 5-12
Sunday 9:45 a.m. Ages 5-19

A full-time Director oversees the day-to day operation and trained and committed leaders and volunteers are in attendance to teach and care for the children.
