Dr. Mukkamala was born in India and earned her degree in medicine from Osmania University in
1989. After graduation she lived in England for 6 years and completed residency in Pediatrics and
Neonatology. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark in 2001. Dr. Mukkamala is certified by the American Board of
Pediatrics.

PERSONAL

Dr. Mukkamala and her husband Raghu have three daughters, Shika, Samira, and Samanta who attend
St. James School. Raghu is an Internist. The entire family enjoys hiking, traveling, and gardening.
