I was initially stationed in London, England as a member of Marine Corps Security Forces Company, London in January 1993. I left England in June 1994 and came home on leave and got married to my wife Suzanne whom I met in England. I then checked into 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division where I was a rifleman, fire-team leader and squad-leader. Later that year, my daughter Skye was Born. In 1995, I deployed to the Mediterranean sea and was able to visit places such as Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Turkey, the Ukraine, Romania and other countries. In 1997, I changed career fields and became an Airframes Mechanic. I attended schools in Pensacola, FL and San Diego, CA and was eventually stationed at Camp Pendleton (San Diego), CA as an Airframes mechanic for HMLA (Helicopter Marine Light Attack) 367. While there, I deployed to Okinawa, Japan and Korea in 1998 and then to the Western Pacific aboard ship.
