Brian Adams

His real name is Bryan Adams. He also wrestled as Crush in Demolition and Demon. Brian Addams started out in the Pacific Northwest Wrestling where he competed as the American Ninja; He also competed as the Midnight Soldier on the independent scene. In the summer of 1990 the WWF brought him in to be the third man in Demolition (Ax was having some health problems). He was given a part of the world tag-team titles but never won it. The New Demolition lost the WWF titles to the Hartfoundation at Summer Slam 1990 and it was down hill form there, Ax was completely dropped and Crush & Smash (Barry Darsow) competed for a while as the New Demolition. In the summer of 1991 Crush went back to the PNW as Crush and won the PNW title. In the summer of 1992 he made his return to the WWF as "Kona" Crush a friendly Hawaiian. During the winter of 1992/1993 Crush started a feud with Doink (Matt Borne) and at WrestleMania IX he was the victim of the "Double" Doink. During the summer of 1993 Yokozuna injured Addams and he had to sit out for a couple of months. When he returned he turned on his friend Randy Savage and joined forces with Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna. Crush and Randy Savage met in a "Fall-Count-Anywhere" match at WrestleMania X which Crush lost. Later in 1994 Crush teamed with Yokozuna to challenge for the WWF Tag-Team titles, but was unsuccessful and Crush soon faded from the scene. During the summer of 1995 Brian Addams was arrested and charged with possession of small firearms and some narcotic substances. The charges were later dropped. In the summer of 1996 Crush returned to the WWF with a Jailbird gimmick, he later joined the Nation of Domination alongside with Faarooq and Savio Vega. As a Nation member Crush mainly feuded with Ahmed Johnson. At WrestleMania XII the nation lost a "Chicago Streetfight" to the Legion of Doom and Ahmed Johnson. In the summer of 1997 the Nation fell apart when Faarooq fired both Crush and Savio. Crush went out and found Chainz, Skull & 8-Ball (Brian, Ron and Don Harris) and formed the Disciples of Apocalypse. They feuded with the new Nation and Los Boriquas, which was a group former Nation member Savio Vega had started. After Vince "Screwed" Bret Hart at the 1997 Survivor Series Crush was one of the wrestler who went on strike, and Crush left the WWF shortly after. During the start of 1998 Brian Addams came to the WCW, where he pretended to be friends with Bret Hart but quickly turned on him and joined the New World Order. Crush shortly feuded with Bret Hart but since then has accomplished nothing of significance.

Andre suffered from a growth hormone abnormality causing his enormous overall size and weight. At his largest, Andre stood 7' 5" and weighed almost 525 lbs. Andre began in the WWF in 1973 where his size made him an instant crowd favorite. Throughout most of his career, Andre won a number of Battle Royals and also won the Tag Team championships with Haku, but he never got a shot at the World Title until 1987 against Hulk Hogan. He lost. Andre finally captured the title a year later, but was stripped of it when he tried to sell it to The Million Dollar Man. Andre died in his sleep from heart problems at the age of 46 in 1993. Andre the Giant was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame in 1993.

Stone Cold Steve Austin

Thats the bottom line, 'cause Stone Cold says so! His real name is Steve Williams and was born on 12/18/64. He learned his wrestling skills in Texas at Gentleman Chris Adams wrestling school in his home state of Texas. He later married Chris Adam's wife soon after her and Chris divorced. He came to WCW in 1991 as Stunning Steve Austin. He quickly captured the WCW TV title in 1992, defeating veteran Barry Windham. A year later, he defeated Dustin Rhodes to claim the WCW U.S. championship. He lost the title, but regained it by against Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat. He teamed up with "Flying" Brian Pillman. Known as the "Hollywood Blondes," Austin and Pillman beat Ricky Steamboat and "The Franchise" Shane Douglas to win the WCW tag team belts. Irreverent and obnoxious, they had all the fans hating them. His rise to the top has been derailed several times by injuries. Because of this, WCW terminated his contract with him over the phone. He went to ECW and honed his "Nasty S.O.B." persona. After becoming a star at ECW, he decided to jump to the WWF in 1995. He was the ringmaster, managed by the million dollar man, Ted Dibiase. DiBiase left the WWF and Austin, and he became Stone Cold. In 1996, he defeated Jake "The Snake" Roberts to become King of the Ring. Mocking Jake, a christian that constantly quoted John 3:16, he came up with his signature slogan. Austin stated "you talk about Psalms, you talk about John 3:16... well Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ass!" Later that year he suffered a major neck injury due to a piledriver by Brett "The Hitman" Hart, he was almost paralyzed. In 1997, he won the WWF tag titles with Shawn Michaels and then again with Mick Foley. He next won the WWF World Heavyweight belt by defeating Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania XV. In 1999, his neck was reinjured and he had to take a year off. He has now recaptured the title, although he is hated again. Out of the blue, Stone Cold left the WWE in the summer of 2002. We have heard all kinds of rumors but we suspect this was a situation with Vince McMahon, similar to the Brett Hart fiasco. I was no secret that Austin was unhappy with the "entertainment" direction Vince is taking the company. We suspect that Vince was planning to screw Austin the way he did Brett and Stone Cold wasn't going to play that game. It's a shame, Stone Cold did as much for the WWF as Hulk did and was a better wrestler.
