Sandy Saddler

This Hall of Fame featherweight champion knocked out 103 opponents! Best known for his 4 historic fights against Willie Pep in the late 40's and early 50's, which he won 3 bouts.

• 1991 All World #133. This was 1993 and he was barely able to function. I had him at the signing diaz but had to take him away after only 15 minutes. His grandson pete was there(big guy) and he appreciated that I put him in a chair outside and got him a hotdog and soda. I did get him to sign my 1949 program of his championship fight with Pep but on this card I only got "best of luck", not his name. he stopped after righting this and just starred into space for about 10 minutes.
