P5. The Trial Of Bravery
Your Clan exhibited a refined and expert skill in the first Trial and has distinguished itself in the eyes of the Ancients.
The next Trial is more difficult, more grueling, more deadly.
Win the Trial and receive the honor of the Ancients' mantle.
Lose the Trial and be banished and disgraced.
The Trial Hunts of the Ancients continue on in this: the Trial of Bravery. Your Clan is to enter a large and mature Alien hive. There, you are to seize the skull of their Queen. Win with your skill and your bravery, or fail in disgrace and dishonor your Clan forever.
THE TRIAL OF BRAVERY
Objectives:
* Seize the skull of the Alien Queen.
Optional Objectives:
* Wipe out the Marines.
Starting Forces:
* 1000 Honor Points
* 1 Shrine
* 1 Disc Master
* 1 Spear Master
* 1 Hunter
Target Time: 28 minutes
This trial is also a bit difficult. First, you should wipe out the Marines. They are located south of you, so head there. This will also let you stockpile honor points, which you will need for the upcoming battles. Go ahead and order a few Brawlers first though, as you need more troops now, and three won’t cut it. Hunters are also good. You really should not have much trouble killing the humans. Scour the area to kill them all.
When you are done, max out on Predator forces. I would recommend getting a Blazer or two, as they are superb against most Aliens. A Vanguard may also be a good choice. Max out your forces as you see fit, and follow the path to the Aliens’ Hive. Ignore those Hive Nodes unless you really want to destroy them.
The north entrance to the Hive is not as well defended as the southern entrance, so take the northern. Head straight for the Queen and attack her first, then take out the other Aliens here while having one of your Predators take her skull. Doing so will end the level.
