Predator Walkthrough: P4
P4. The Predator Ancients Revealed
Marines have destroyed the Cloakers and revealed the Council of Ancients' hidden base. Now exposed, the Ancients explain their covert mission.
The "poachers" you fought are another strong Clan who were also granted "exclusive" hunting rights. The Ancients' plan was to lure two great Clans here and pit them against each other. The superior Clan would then be deemed the Ancients' successors, the losing Clan would be banished.
To this end, the Ancients imported Alien Eggs and created an arena in which they could study the Clans secretly, to rate their hunting prowess. Now, unable to observe from afar, the Ancients order you to the Clan Trials: a pair of Formal Hunts designed to showcase a Clan's skill.
The Ancients direct your Clan into this: the Trial of Hunting Stealth. With a small pack of Clan members, you are to infiltrate the Marine base. If you alert many humans, you will fail and die. Stalk and seize the skull of the base's leader: the lietenant commander. Win with your skill and your stealth, and remember that in failure comes disgrace for all the Clan.
THE TRIAL OF HUNTING STEALTH
Objectives:
* Seize the lieutenant commander's skull without triggering a Stage 3 alert. When an intruder is detected, Marines issue an alert by pressing the red button on the nearest alarm station. On the third alarm, the base enters Stage 3.
Optional Objectives:
* Keep all members of the starting party alive to the end of the Hunt.
Starting Forces:
* 250 Honor Points
* 1 Stalker
* 1 Spear Master
* 1 Hunter
* 1 Brawler
Target Time: 32 minutes

This is a stealth level, which makes it difficult and somewhat annoying. Not only that, but you also need to keep all four of your Predators alive, and they are the only ones you get. First, put your troops on No Attack mode, and also cloak them. If you need to kill anyone, your Stalker is the way to go, but it’s best to just avoid combat. Always send your Stalker first, as he can easily kill humans from a distance and remain undetected, even while attacking them.
Start by going east a little ways, then north to the gap between the mountains. Quickly send your troops north through here. You will probably be detected, but that’s not a big deal right now. Try to avoid the lights, and of course, Sentry Guns and Synthetics. If a solitary human blocks your path, it is easiest to just go ahead and kill him. Stay to the far north side of the map now and go west until you stop at the wall. Uncloak and recharge your energy here. When all four are fully charged, recloak and head south. Use the Stalker to sniper the two Infantry guarding the entrance door, and do the same to the Synthetic there.
From this point on, you should send your Stalker forward to kill the Marines in your way, then have the rest of your team follow close behind. Follow the map and stop before you head west. There is a Sentry Gun beyond, and it’ll see past your cloak, so use all four Predators to destroy it. If anyone here ever spots you, chase them down! They will have an exclamation mark over their head, so kill them before they reach an alarm button and you’ll be okay.
Keep using the Stalker to clear the path for your other troops, and remember to give time for your energy to recharge if you need to. The final room does have a Sentry Gun and a Synthetic, but you can actually destroy the Sentry Gun safely from a distance, ignore the Synthetic, and just kill the Lt. Commander safely with your Stalker. Then take out the Synthetic, and grab the Lt. Commander’s skull to complete the level.
