The teams have returned. I should say that some have returned. We have lost many. What else could I do though? They would have found us soon - I am certain - just as they may have found the POC. Eisenberg will not hear of this possibility - he insists that the Aliens along possessed the power to destroy the POC. His imagination is too small. It will be his undoing. I will not make the same mistake; more creatures will come for their brethren. We must be ready.

* Rescue your clan mates.
* Use the human lifts to follow your teammates. Beware the water, which will temporarily disable your cloaking.

The first part of this level requires stealth. Your Speargun will come in handy here, but don't waste all your ammo. If you use your Speargun, try to get the spears back from the corpses. Otherwise use your Wristblades or Combistaff to safely remain cloaked. Head down and approach the fence. So long as you are on this side of the fence, the turret guns on the other side won't shoot at you. These turrets can see you even if you are cloaked and do massive damage so you need to avoid them. You can easily spot them with your Predtech vision, so learn what they look like and avoid them!

Follow the fence to the right, so you can avoid the two turret guns there. Eventually the fence comes to a small puddle of water. Jump over the fence here, making sure you are cloaked. Head towards the APC and switch to your thermal (blue) vision mode. There is a Marine and a female technician here.

Man: Hurry up with that thing.
Woman: Almost done.
Man: That thing could show up any minute.
Woman: I'm working as fast as I can.

Use your Speargun to kill the Marine, then grab the spear from his body. Use your Wristblades or Speargun to kill the technician.

Man: This is high ground. Probable enemy contact, Predators. Stand by for fire support.

Head past the APC and you'll see two Marines talking.

Man: I thought you were on third shift.
Paul: Farley's on sick leave.
Man: He looked fine yesterday.
Paul: He was fine yesterday. The idiot got into a pissing contest with one of Rykov's men. Crazy Russian bastard broke both his arms, barehanded. Right in front of a security camera.
Man: Why does the Corporation even bother with mercenaries? We can handle this situation on our own. We're trained professionals.
Paul: My brother works for the news net. He says the Corporation has special teams for problem solving. I don't remember all the names, but the Iron Bears definitely came up. They've been accused of kidnappings, assassinations, mass murders... you name it. There's a joke that the only problem with sending the Bears to educate a town is that afterward, there's no more town.
Man: Poor Farley. Well, at least they caught it on camera.
Paul: Like that matters.
Man: Ain't fair.
Paul: You got that right. I'm stuck with double shifts!

Kill both Marines with the Speargun and go get your spears back. Avoid going for head shots as you laugh when you get one, and you don't want to draw attention to yourself. Now head towards the pool of water to the left of the two Marines. This is a good place to recharge your energy, as the water will deactivate your cloak. Head through the water and sniper the Marine in the distance with your Speargun. Don't worry about getting the spear back. Exit the water and recloak, then head to the right. Ahead of you'll see an area surrounded by water. Sniper any Marines you see with the Speargun and get ready to cross. There are more Marines over there you probably missed, so you'll probably get shot at as your cloak is deactivated in the water. When you reach the land, recloak and kill the other Marines here.

Man: Activate the lift! Take me up, now!

Jump onto the lift as it goes up to complete the first part of this level.

I told Dunya to take the first creature to implantation immediately. I wanted it to die slowly. I would happily kill them all for what they have done to me. They should have finished me when they had the chance and not left me broken. I do not make the same errors. Unfortunately, I was not as quick with the second. Eisenberg intervened before I could dispatch it. He wants it alive, for study. Again, he misunderstands what he holds. He doesn't need to understand them. He needs to kill them.

* Rescue your clan mates.

Man: Target confirmed! Get me some friggin' backup!
Man: Use your EMP grenades!

The lift rises up, so quickly cloak and use your thermal vision mode. You can use your Wristblades or Combistaff here. I would go against using your Speargun, as you'll need the ammo later in this level. Kill the two Marines here and watch out for the EMP grenades, which disable all your electrical equipment (cloaker, vision modes, energy based weapons, etc). Then looks around this area for a stack of boxes. Jump up the boxes to the second level of this room. Kill the four Marines on this level, and use your Medicomp and Energy Sift if you need too. Then look for another stack of boxes and jump up to the third level. First head to the right and go all the way around to safely get behind the sentry gun and destroy it. Kill the Marines on this level and use the Medicomp and Energy Sift if you need to.

Head towards the lift in the center of this level. It's locked, so activate the panel to the left of it. Quickly head to the edge of the platform and jump out onto the box as it rises. When it reaches the top you'll see the window to the lift shut, trapping a technician in there. Jump over onto the fourth level.

Intercom: Medical supplies have been loaded. Security personnel please perform visual inspection and release elevator for transit to main storage.

Check around for any Marines here, then go to the panel near the lift. Open it and use your charge emitter to make a ladder drop down behind you. Climb up the ladder and into the elevator shaft. Open the door below you and drop into the elevator, killing the technician inside. The elevator will start to move up. Use your Medicomp and Energy Sift to get to full health and energy.

Man 1: It's on the lift!
Man 2: Form up.
Man 1: It's on level 2!
Man 2: Over here!

Cloak before the elevator door opens and kill the Marines and synthetic in this area. There are quite a few but if you remain cloaked you should have no problem. Then look around this area for a control box. Open it and use your Wristblades to destroy the wiring inside, causing the lights to fade. Head to the right of this to find two sentry guns pointed away from you. Activate the lift to the left of the sentry guns and ride it up. There are a few additional Marines and synthetics here, so take care of them first. Then use your Medicomp and Energy Sift if you need to. Otherwise look for a door that opens when you near it, revealing two Marines. Kill them and go up the stairs to finish this part of the level.

So, we have not taken them all. One comes for me. On my terms, now. We track it through our cameras and sensors. I have studied some of the footage. Something about the mask draws my attention. Under magnification, I can just make out markings. They are different from the masks on the other two - more ornamental. Different and yet familiar. I feel I am staring into my past - into the face of my would-be killer. Does this mean I have found him - my attacker from so many years ago? Or more likely, his friend, his brother - ha, perhaps it is no more than a brand like a logo on a shoe. No matter, I will think of him as my nemesis - and enjoy his undoing all the more.

* Escape the core.

Switch back to your thermal vision mode and cloak again. Head up the stairs and you'll encounter three Marines on your way. When you reach a door in the stairwell, go through it and search this area for Marines. Take them all out then jump up towards the elevator in the center of the large room. This part will require lots of jumping and can be confusing. I recommend using your Medicomp and Energy Sift before hand, and deactivating your cloak for now.

From the central platform, jump up to the higher ledge. Then go left or right to one of the nearby vents, jump onto it, and walk across it. You can jump up to another ledge from here. Then go left or right to find a space where you can jump up to another platform. Cloak before you do and jump up onto the walkway. Kill the Marines and the synthetic here, then deactivate your cloak. Be careful here, as there are synthetics on the next level up that have shotguns and can see past your cloak. Pull out your Speargun and look up for them using your thermal vision mode. Try to get a head shot on them as it destroys them instantly. Kill the ones you can see, then look around here. From the central platform, other platforms branch off. Check them, as one has a ladder. Take the ladder up to the next level, where the synthetics were.

Look around here for any synthetics you might have missed. Otherwise, search the walkway for ladders. There are several, but one leads up to an open room. Climb up that ladder and into the room. The doors will close on you, locking you inside. Energy waves drop down from above and knock you out, ending the level with a small cut scene.

Rykov: I think you are lost, my friend.
Rykov: Twenty years in my nightmares. You have much to repay.

He pulls the mask off of you.

Rykov: I will keep this as a trophy.

Rykov coughs, looking sick.

Ivan: Your medication.
Rykov: Not yet.
Marine: Sir, that's three. We're safe then, right?
Rykov: We're safe. For now. But there may be others.
