Objectives:
* Get back to your ship - Escape through the city to reach your spaceship. The waypoint markers on your radar and heads-up display (HUD) will show you where to go.
* Bonus Mission - Kill the Irish Boss - Broken-Face Finlay, the leader of the irish mobsters, would make a worthy kill.
Welcome to the first level! If you haven’t already done so, you should definitely go through the training first to get acquainted with your controls and how to fight.
All you have so far is your Smart Disc, Glaive, Medicomp, Wristblades, and of course, your bare hands. Right now you can’t even cloak or use your vision modes. However, this is an easy level, made to get you acquainted with the story and how the game goes. As for which weapon to use, the Glaive is best, and your Wristblades will also work well.
Drop down and two humans will come at you from the left. Kill them and you will see a small cutscene with the nearby door breaking open. Kill the three humans that run out and enter the hallway. With another cutscene, you are instructed how to perform an Execution. This is an extremely helpful move and you will use it often. Now you can cloak as well. Kill the other two humans in this hall and move on. Just down this hall you will see the first marker. There’s a human here with his back turned to you, so practice your Execution move on him. Now head outside.
Outside, the rain deactivates your Cloak. You jump down to the street in a small cutscene. Now you are fighting drunken Irish men and cops, and they have guns, but they are still not a major threat. Kill some of them if you wish, but they will respawn indefinitely, so just continue on towards the next marker.
The next marker is up on the roof of the building ahead of you. Do a super jump (hold down the jump button then release it) twice to reach the roof. Now to the next marker, just walk along the rooftops and along the narrow beam and jump up. On this roof, there are two humans. A cutscene shows you how to perform a Juggle, but this move isn’t very practical considering there are faster ways to kill a man. You can practice it on the other human if you want. Otherwise, jump up to the next marker.
When you can see the next marker in the distance, jump over to it using the ledge to the right, then make a super jump to reach the next marker. Kill the two humans here and a cutscene will show you how to do a Grapple, which is another useful move, but not for killing. Drop down onto the street again.
Here you will see a marked circle on your radar, as well as a human with a red symbol over his head. Kill him to complete the bonus mission and unlock the Jungle Hunter alternate costume. You’re treated to a cutscene of the Predator skinning and hanging the man. Drop down onto the street from the ledge you are now standing on and kill the humans here. These ones don’t respawn. Head to the next marker and you will jump up. Climb all the way up this grate, and to another marker where a cutscene will show you part of a building being destroyed. Drop onto the ground and move through the alleys towards the marker, killing any humans you see.
There will be another scene showing a building breaking apart with fire, so you must also avoid the fire. At the end of the alleyway, use the nearby fire escape to climb up, then backflip at the top to reach the rooftop, or just climb up and jump over. From here you can reach the next marker. In the next area run between the two columns of fire, but an explosion will trigger and stop you from reaching the last marker. You fall down and now you get to watch the awesome CG movie as the level ends.
