A5. Lab Breakout
After annihilating Kadinsky's Aliens, your horde was herded into retaining cells.
Soon after, Predators invaded the laboratory complex, captured Dr. Kadinsky, and left a trail of destruction in their wake.
During the invasion, a stray plasma bolt fried your cell's Control Panel.
You are now free, but alone.
Break out the rest of your Hive and find a way to breed.
A stray shot during a fire fight destroyed the Control Panel and freed you from your cell. You are alone inside the laboratory with no way to breed and grow. First, find and free as many of the others as you can before you locate and assault the room containing your Eggs. Then, breed and grow, and take over the lab by killing its leaders: the lieutenant commanders.
TAKE OVER THE LAB
Objectives:
* Take control of the Eggs in the guarded area marked on the map. Use them to create a Queen.
* Create a Queen in preparation of the lab takeover.
* Kill Lt. Commander Mitchell.
* Kill Lt. Commander Sotillo.
* Kill Lt. Commander Monygham.
Optional Objectives:
* Kill Weyland-Yutani executive Charles Gould.
Starting Forces:
* 500 Infestation Points
* 1 Warrior
Target Time: 25 minutes
Have your Warrior destroy the three control panels here to free three Runners, two Warriors, and three Drones. Move your nine Aliens east and when the hall splits, go south, towards the area marked “specimen cells”. The rooms here contain Oswocs. Remember that for once you have your Queen, if you need Drones. Continue going east until you get outside, and kill the Infantry here. Now head north, killing any other humans you find, until you see another way into the building on the west. Go west down the corridor until you reach the Flamethrower. Kill him, then head north, where there is another Infantry. Now continue going all the way west.
At the end, break the control panel by the door to free three Runners. Head south and you’ll find more similar doors, and another Flamethrower. The next door to the south contains three Drones. The third door down has three Warriors. The fourth door down contains five Facehuggers, so send them backwards to impregnate either a few of the humans you just killed, or some of the Oswocs or Kurn in the rooms to the north. Then add those five to your small army. The fifth door down has three Runners inside, and the last door has three more Warriors. This should give you 29 Aliens, provided none have died since you started.
Now take all your Aliens and head east from the last door. Kill the one Infantry unit down this hall and continue along. This will take you to the room containing the Eggs. Break the control panel to enter the room, then kill the two Infantry inside. In here, break the four control panels to get the fifteen Eggs and two Praetorian Eggs. Firstly, hatch the two Praetorian Eggs and send the Praetorian Facehuggers to any of the hosts in this room. Hatch a few extra Eggs if there are still bodies in this room as well. Then convert a Praetorian into a Queen. You actually don’t need her to lay Eggs. Your army should be able to protect her, as humans tend to attack this room often.
You should have 45 Aliens at this point. Send all your Aliens (even your Queen) out the east passageway and send them north. Kill the mass amount of humans you encounter as well as Lt. Commander Monygham, who is in this room. Remember to destroy the sentry guns first however. Follow the map to take you to Lt. Commander Sotillo and kill him as well. Now head south and go get Charles Gould for the optional objective. He is in the room marked on the map. Destroy the control panel to get inside and quickly destroy the two Exosuits, then Charles Gould. Lt. Commander Mitchell is nearby as well, so take him out to complete the level.
