In the 9th grade, the three girls were seperated from each other. Leah and Alisha used to write letter and emails to each other all the time to keep in touch.
One day, Leah had sent out a survey to all of her friends to tell them what they thought of her. One of her guy friends responded to this. In the question, “What is your best body part” he answered “your ass”. Alisha started to joke around, making fun of Leah, callin’ her “Oss” so it wouldn’t be a curse word. Alisha kept calling Leah "Oss" til it finally became a nickname forever.
