Leah and Alisha met in their English class of 8th grade while Leah and Janelle were working on their Halloween project about killer spoons. During the end of the school year, all the the English classes were assigned to read "The Diary of Anne Frank.” The book was read as a play, which Alisha volunteered to be one of the characters. She was chosen as the character which happened to be this woman who bragged about how beautiful her legs were.
Leah's eye lit up and after the first day of Alisha's performance, Leah started making fun of Alisha, and commenting how sexy her legs were. After a while, it was shortened to "Legs" which stuck.
