It is with great pleasure and welcome all to our Official Cree Youth Website. Throughout your short cyber visit, I hope you will find the contents and information given out helpful as you better understand our purpose and service to the Cree Youth throughout Eenou Istchee (James Bay as highlighted in the JBNQA "James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement").
This Cree Youth Website will also highlight some key partners we have as we provide our leadership role and mandate for the Cree Youth and the general public of the Cree Nation. It is with their efforts and commitment that we are able to move forward in bettering the lifestyles of our Youth and General Society.
The Cree Nation Youth Council, originally known as Cree Regional Youth Council at the time of establishment will be in existence for Twenty (20) years within the upcoming summer. A milestone that all the Cree Youth can be extremely proud and this would not have been possible without the continued support from the Grand Council of the Crees and leadership commitment by previous Youth Grand Chiefs/Chairman’s of the Cree Nation Youth Council and all the Board Members.
Throughout the next three years will be another term of challenges as we serve our leadership roles in working to better our qualities in the various aspects of our Cree Nation for the Cree Youth.
