Quinn, Shirley, Taylor, Zac, Diana, and Zoe all looked up sharply as Isaac walked into the waiting room, his face blank and grim.
"Is she okay?" Diana asked, jumping up.
Isaac nodded. "Sprained ankle, sprained wrists, a few cuts, a bad bump on the head, and a few brusies." Isaac said.
"Oh thank goodness she's okay." Diana said, embracing her eldest son.
"Oh, mom, I was so scared." Isaac said.
"I know honey, I know." Diana said, touching her son's face.
Isaac walked over to the rest of his family and friends. "She's okay."
"Ike I'm so glad." Shirley said, touching his arm.
"So am I." Ike said. "The doctor said he'd keep her for a few more hours; they still have to finish some stitches on the side of her head and on her chest, then she can go home. She just needs to rest awhile, she's still a little out of it. She bumped her head pretty bad on her steering wheel." Isaac said.
"I'll stay with you, Ike." Taylor said.
"Nah." Isaac shook his head. "We'll be alright."
"Do they know what happened?" Zac asked, standing up.
Isaac sighed. "She drove the front right hand side of her car into a stoplight at an intersection, then someone bumped the back left hand side, and they're not sure why yet. She doesn't remember."
"Oh lord, I hope she does't have amnesia." Diana said, getting a concerned look on her face.
"No, no, nothing like that." Isaac said.
"Thank goodness." Diana said.
Isaac nodded and shoved his hands into his pockets. Quinn looked at how worried Isaac looked; she had never seen him look this old before.
"I'm glad she's alright....do you need us to stay?" Diana asked.
"No, you guys can go on home." Isaac said. "She needs to rest awhile, then I'm going to take her to my place."
"Okay." Diana said. "I'm going to go home, but if you need me, just call."
"I will, mom." Isaac said.
"Wait a sec mom, there's press out there, I'll help you." Taylor said.
"Okay." Diana said, stopping to wait.
"Thanks for coming guys." Isaac said to Taylor, Zac, Shirley and Quinn.
"No problem." Quinn said.
"We were so worried about her." Shirley said.
"So was I." Isaac said. In fact, he couldn't even remember the last time he'd been so worried.
