"It'll be a little while yet." Diana said to Shirley and Quinn.

"Okay." Shirley said, nodding. They watched as Diana sat down inbetween Zoe and Taylor. There along with them was Taylor, Zac, Zoe, Diana, and Walker had just left with Avery. They had been waiting nearly an hour, and Isaac was back with Angela. They still had no idea how bad her injuries were.

"Oh god, I hate this." Shirley said. "This is reminds me of what it was like when my mother was killed."

"Oh." Quinn said. "I'm sorry."

"Oh...it's okay." Shirley said, rubbing her tired eyes. Taylor glanced over at her and rubbed shoulder as he stretched. They gave each other weak smiles, then Taylor focused his attention on the door of the waiting room.

Quinn glanced out the window. There were already a few news crews outside, and one had been rushed out as soon as they stepped foot in the door.

"Oh jeez, the press is already here. They'll go to town on this one." Shirley said, noticing what Quinn was looking at.

Quinn nodded. "I really hope she's okay."

"I do too sweetie." Shirley said, smiling warily. "I do too..."

"They said she hit a stoplight. How could she hit a stoplight?"

"I don't know. We don't know the whole story yet." Shirley said.

"Yeah, you're right." Quinn said.

Shirley sighed and crossed her legs, trying to get comfortable in the plastic chairs.

"She's such a sweetheart. Everytime I've talked to her she's said something nice to me." Quinn said.

"She is a sweetie." Shirley said, sighing lightly.

Quinn took a deep breath and looked over at Zac. He was sitting in his chair, with his hair hanging slightly in his face. His elbows were propped on the arms of the chair he was in, and his hands were clasped in front of his face. He was frowning, and he looked to be deep in thought. Quinn watched as he bit his lip. She had never seen him look so concentrated.

He looked over at his mother and smiled weakly.

Diana had tears in her eyes. "Her parents aren't even here." She said. Quinn watched as a few tears slid down her soft cheeks. "Her own parents."

Zac put his arm around his mother, and she leaned her head on her son's shoulder, not bothering to wipe her eyes. Zac sighed and looked over at Quinn. They exchanged sad looks as Diana cried silently.
