Angela timidly looked over at Isaac, who had both hands on the wheel and was staring straight ahead. He looked mad. She wasn't sure if she should talk to him or not, or if this was just a time when it was best to just not say anything. Curiosity got the better of her.
"Isaac?" She timidly asked.
He kept staring straight head.
"Isaac?" She asked a little louder.
"What?" He asked softly, snapping out of a trance. He turned onto another road and glanced over at her.
"Are....A-are you okay?" She asked, giving him a concerned look.
"Yeah...." He said softly, concentrating on the road.
"Oh...okay." She said, sitting back in the passenger seat. They drove in silence for a few minutes before Isaac spoke again.
"Angela...."
"Yes?"
"I'm.....I'm sorry. That was stupid of me."
"Oh....Isaac...it's okay. You didnt' mean to."
"I know, but that's no excuse. I just saw him say those things to you....and....and I wanted to hurt him."
"I know how you feel." She said softly, folding her hands in her lap.
"Yeah. He just...made me so mad. And I'm not even a violent person." He said.
"I understand. I don't blame you for shoving him like that." She said. "it's okay."
"I know. I've never lost my temper like that. I....I scared myself. I wanted to hurt him. I really did."
Isaac glanced thoughtfully over at her, and Angela could only stare blankly back.
