"AAAAHHH!" He screeched. Soon they were chasing one another around the snow covered yard in the dark, the only light being the moon and the eerie glow it cast on the yard.
"I'll get you!" He whispered loudly, racing after her.
"Not if i get you first!" She said, pelting a snowball at him.
"Hey!" He playfully protested as the snowball whizzed by his head. "You're supposed to be my friend."
"Yeah, but this is an exception!" She said, peling another at him.
"AAAAhHHH!" He quietly screeched as it his him on the back. Quinn exploded into a fit of giggles as the snowball his him. Zac paused a second to wipe the snow off of himself before racing after her.
Soon overcome with giggles, Quinn had to slow down and stop she was laughing so hard.
"Ah ha! Got you!" Zac said, grabbing both of her arms.
"No!" She said, pretending to struggle.
They both laughed for a moment as she struggled. "You've got a pretty good arm, you know that?" he asked.
"Yeah." She giggled.
"I think I got about two good shots at you, and meanwhile you had about twenty."
Quinn laughed again. "I know, but sometime I'll let you have a free one."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah." Quinn said, smiling.
"How about now?" He asked, showing her the handfull of snow in his hand.
"Oh no." Quinn's eyes widened in fear. She laughed. "You wouldn't!"
Zac laughed and raised his hand above her head, ready to smear the snow all over her. "Wouldn't I?"
"Zac, no!" She said, starting to laugh uncontrolably.
"No, you said I got a free shot." He said, lowering his hand.
"No!" She whined. "That's not fair!" They both started to laugh, knowing that it was more than fair. His eyes caught hers as they laughed. Gradually, they stopped laughing and soon they were just staring at one another. Zac suddenly leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. They pulled apart and looked at each other.
"Whoa." He said, smiling awkwardly.
Quinn let out the breath she had been holding. "Yeah."
They were silent for a few moments, then they laughed nervously.
"Wow....I mean, twice in one night!" Zac joked.
Quinn laughed. "Yeah....wow."
