Zac sighed for the millionth time that night. He threw back his covers, slipped on some sweats, a t-shirt, and some sneakers. He quietly tip toed down to the kitchen, where he paused briefly to gaze at the mistletoe that he and Quinn had shared their first kiss under just a few short hours ago. He quietly re-set the security alarm, then opened the back door.
The snow was still steadily falling, but that didn't stop him from quietly going down the steps into the already snow covered ground. At least three inches had already fallen and his feet were quickly growing cold, but that didn't matter as he cut across the yards.
When he had reached his house of destination, he went around to the back, where he knew her window was. He went over to the house and found a few pebbles near the garden. He backed up and tossed a few up. They weren't very big or very loud, but something told him that she was still up and she would hear them anyway.
About twenty seconds later, a figure appeared at the window. He saw Quinn smile and then dissappear. A few minutes later, he heard the basement door open and she stepped out into the backyard wearing her sweats, sneakers, and a long-sleeved t-shirt. Her hair was in a loose knot at the nape of her neck, and she had slipped on a pair of gloves.
"We're going to freeze." She said with a giggle, walking over to him.
"I know."
"We'll be all cold and wet."
"I know." Zac said with a grin.
"We could die tomorrow of pnemonia." She said, still grinning.
"I don't care, as long as we die at the same time." he said, laughing a little.
"Same here." She said. They just smiled at each other for a moment before Quinn suddenly crouched near to the ground and picked up a handfull of snow. Zac's eyes widened as she threw the powedery snow at him.
