===== Linux HeLp =====

*** incomplete ***

I will start by explaining most basic functions you need to know when your trying to work on a linux for running a task like a eggdrop.

  First of all, you need a linux account, you have 2 ways to get one. First, by installing your own machine on linux, or by buying an account on the internet.

The login, will look something like that :

Red Hat Linux release 6.1 (Cartman)
Kernel 2.2.12-20 on an i586
login: jabea
Password: _

  If our account work good, after we are supposed to log into our "home" directory.

[jabea@myhost jabea]$

.. ls : to get a direcory content ..
Lets make the command, ls..

[jabea@myhost jabea]$ ls
eggdrop1.3.9.tar.gz
[jabea@myhost jabea]$ _

As we can see, the eggdrop compressed files is already there (I will explain later on how to manage your account files with a ftp client)
