First Impression - Part 1

"You gotta help me!" my cousin pleaded. Now this was a change. Tall, blonde and model perfect, my cousin, Cory, never asked for my help in the "guys" department. She was usually the one beating the guys away with a stick, yet tonight she was actually begging. Since I'd moved in with her and my uncle and started working with them in their nightclub, I'd admired the power she held over men.

"So buy him a drink or ask him to dance or something, Cory. You definitely don't need my help to get a guy!"

"He's not the problem! It's the guy he's with!" she complained.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh, God, another plan to change some poor guy's sexual preference?"

"No!" she screamed. "This is Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys!"

I spit out a mouthful of soda. "What was that I was just reading about those guys?" She slapped my arm as I waved a magazine in the air. "Ah-ha. Page 3." Her face was red and flushed as she grabbed the magazine out of my hand.

"Look, Nick and Howie come here all the time" she started to explain.

"Together?" I smirked "How sweet? Although I think the magazine quoted a different couple."

"No, no, no!" She was actually jumping up and down now. My sides hurt from laughing.

"No, they come here together but they're coming to see us." She motioned to her friend, Beth. "We were supposed to get together upstairs tonight for a little private send-off party but Kevin came with them and he won't let them go anywhere. Says since they’re leaving tonight to go on tour, he’s keeping an eye on them so they don't disappear and make them late or something."

"Back up a step. Who is "Kevin"...his dad or his bodyguard?"

She gave me a look like I had 3 heads. "Are you that ignorant? He’s one of them." She flipped the page and poked at another picture in the magazine. "Him."

"Never mind the explanation," I sighed, pushing aside my homework "What do you need me to do?"

"We've tried everything but he won't let Nick and Howie out of his sight." She whined.

"They're big boys. Why don't they just tell "Kevin" that they want to hang out with you for awhile and let him find his own date."

"He's mean." She pouted. "We've tried everything. I even had the bartender make his drinks really strong to get him to loosen up but no luck. So we need you to distract him until we get Nick and Howie upstairs. They said they'll deal with Kevin later." Cory was not going to let me get away without helping her.

"Why me? You have a dozen gorgeous friends out there who could seduce any guy in this place." I caught Cory and Beth exchanging quick glances. "Oh, come on. Now what have I gotten myself into? Is he THAT bad?"

"You don't have to do anything but distract him." she begged, which made me even more nervous. "We’ve got him well on the way to being drunk. Just call one of the bouncers if he gets out of hand."

I glanced down at the picture in the magazine then back at her shaking my head. Between Cory’s reaction to this guy and the picture in the magazine, my bet was that he was no fun when he was angry and he was sure going to be angry when the four of them disappeared. There was no way I wanted anything to do with Cory's plan.

"Cory, why don't you just see Nick another night?" I started.

"Are you crazy? I just told you they're leaving to go on tour. Do you know how many girls would kill for a chance like this?!" she looked like she was going to cry.

Even I couldn’t say no to Cory. I rolled my eyes at her as I gave in. "Just distract him, right?"

She grabbed my hand and started pulling me toward the door. "Please! Just give us 5 minutes. He won't know where we are once we're upstairs."

"Alright," I sighed, "but you guys owe me." I glanced down at the picture on the table again. "Big time."

As we approached their booth, Nick and Howie got up from their seats to greet Cory and Beth with hugs and kisses. Cory motioned to me "My cousin."

"Hey" Nick leaned over and kissed my cheek, Cory’s hands still on his hips.

"Nice to meet you." Howie said as Beth leaned against his chest. With one smile I understood why millions of girls chased them and Cory felt it necessary not to lose her chance tonight.

"And the "gentleman" at the table is Kevin." I followed Nick’s look. I was definitely not prepared to be greeted by an attractive man with the most intense green eyes I had ever seen. In the magazine, his eyes were hidden by his hair, which was wild in his face. Tonight the wild hair was pulled back in a ponytail and he was dressed conservatively in a black silk shirt open at the collar rather than the leather jacket and gloves.

"Hi" he said simply in a soft, deep, drawl. I wasn’t sure if I was more surprised at the way his voice caused shivers to run down my spine or the way his eyes caused me to blush from head to toe.

Nick grabbed Cory and started to dance between the tables. "Come on, guys." Howie took Nick by the arm. "To the dance floor!"

Kevin got up from the table and offered me his hand. His touch sent my teenage hormones into an out of control rush and I bit my lip to remind myself to concentrate on the task at hand. All I needed to do was distract him so Cory could make her "escape". Just 5 minutes and I'd be back finishing my homework. My resolve lasted almost the entire 5 minutes.

We danced until we were breathless then sat and talked over drinks. So where was the "mean" guy Cory was so afraid of, the wild man in the picture? I noticed that Cory and Beth were nowhere to be seen and I knew I could ditch Kevin anytime I wanted, but now I was fascinated and had no desire to be anywhere else. He had an easy smile, a great sense of humor and a way of looking at you with those intense green eyes that made you feel like the most important thing in the room.

The DJ started a set of slow songs and we moved back to the dance floor. The smell of alcohol on his breath mingled with the smell of hot bodies as he nuzzled into my neck, our bodies moving together on the edge of the crowded dance floor. His hands were on my ass pulling me closer and I could feel his erection pressing against my stomach.

He lifted his head and licked his lips, the desire obvious in his intense gaze. His eyes fluttered closed as his lips brushed against mine, his tongue tracing my mouth. A low, sexual moan escaped his lips as I allowed his tongue entrance playfully teasing him with mine. Pulling me closer, he ground his erection against my stomach. I slid my hands behind his neck releasing his ponytail so I could wrap my fingers in his long, soft hair and pull him closer to kiss him more seriously.

He moved his kisses down my neck, grabbing one of my arms and bringing my hand down between our bodies to his stomach. "Baby...please" he murmured seductively in my ear, his breathe warm on my skin. I ran my fingers down his silk shirt to the waistband of his pants and paused.

"Please" he begged in a deep sensual whisper as he pushed my hand lower, and I melted. I briefly wondered if I should tell him that I had never done anything like this before, never touched a man there in all my 17 years, but I was lost in how erotic this all was, the music pulsing in my ear, our sweaty bodies dancing against each other, and his desire so obvious.

I slid my hand into his pants and wrapped my fingers gently around his throbbing hardness, intrigued by the feel of his erection pulsing in my hand and the way his breathing changed into ragged gasping at my touch. He held tight to me, moaning against my shoulder as I slowly stroked his throbbing erection while trying to make it look like we were just dancing. My other hand was wrapped tightly in his hair steadying him from throwing his head back as he gave in to the sensations coursing through his body. I could feel him losing control, his breathing becoming more ragged as he sped up the rhythm, thrusting harder into my hand. I knew he was almost there when he began panting against my neck, chanting "Please... baby...please don’t stop". I tightened my fingers just a little more, running my thumb across the head of his erection. His body tensed and his knees buckled as he came in my hand, muffling his screams of pleasure in my neck.

Breathless, he raised his head off my shoulder, a slow smile spreading from his eyes to his lips before he leaned in to kiss me softly. "Come back to my place?" he whispered seductively in my ear. I wondered what his reaction would be to finding out I would be 17 for another month and was still a virgin.

"Kevin, I need to tell you something" I started just before Nick and Cory burst up to us in a flurry of motion and laughter. "Hey, Kev, you're the one who’s gonna make us miss the plane if we don’t get going." Nick teased. Cory was staring at me obviously anxious to know why I was still there in Kevin’s arms.

"I didn't realize it was so late." Kevin said apologetically looking at me. With a smile, I leaned in to place a kiss on his lips and almost laughed at Cory’s look of utter surprise. He pulled me into a tight hug. "I'm not sure this was the best first impression I've ever made on a woman." He whispered. "Please let me make it up to you when I come back." I reminded myself that this was one of those popular lines guys use in bars as I smiled and nodded, and watched him walk out the door.
