Since launching in June 2003, SarahHarding(dot)TK has changed into the most popular Sarah Harding Fan site on the net having an average of 100 unique vistors per day!
We look at how the site (originally called Sarah Harding - Girl Aloud ) has changed over the past year.

Original Layout

The site launched in early June 2003 after I decided to make a website dedicated to Sarah after meeting her at a signing in HMV. I decided to make a Sarah site because there were not many successful websites on the internet at that time, and I wanted to create a original site as I became bored with my website dedicated to Britney Spears.

The original site design was extremely basic. The main picture was taken from a photoshoot for FHM and the subpicture was taken from a photoshoot to promote No Good Advice where Sarah was wearing a pink top. Features included a tagboard, a news page and a gallery.

Layout 2

I quickly became bored with the design and as the hit counter soared, so did the content.

I thought that Sarah looked absolutely stunning in the purple dress in the FHM shoot so decided to incorporate all 3 of the shots into one main picture.

Layout 3

The Number of pictures in the galleries soon hit the 1000 mark and I realised that it was becoming increasingly hard to update all the latest pictures as well as the latest news. I then decided to join forces with CherylTweedy(dot)TK, to make a separate site just for the galleries - www.girlsaloudpics.tk

In reward for devoting so much time to the galleries, Jade made me a brand new website with a brand new layout which was much more proffessional. I even got a new domain (www.sarahharding.tk instead of www.sarah-girlaloud.cjb.net) and began to establish the site as one of the most up todate and reliable fan sites on the net.

Layout 4

With the release of The Show approaching I decided that it was time to make a brand new banner with more uptodate pictures. Jade made me the top banner using my favourite pictures and Evelyn made me an animation from The Show promotional Video. I decided to keep the pictures down the side to show the many faces of Sarah and added more content and got rid of some of the older, more dated stuff.

Layout 5

Upon meeting Sarah at CDUK on December 2004, I decided to put up the picture I had taken of her as the main feature. I also changed the 8 pictures down the side of the page - the first 2 being signed Sarah items which I have, followed by pics from when I have met Sarah and then my two favourite Sarah pictures at the bottom.
