O-Town at the VMA's

(The Boys of Otown have just arrived at MTV's Video Music Awards. All are excited to be attending and seeing everybody.)

(They step out of the limo into a crowd of fans, reporters and other celebrities.)

Trev
(eyes wide)
Oh my God! This is nuts!
Jake
Yeah and Dan wanted to stay at home and knit!
Dan
I do not knit!
Jake
Same diff man. Sit on your ass...knit...atleast if you knitted you'd be doing SOMETHING!
Ashley
Whatever guys just smile pretty for the camera.

(Ashley begins to smile and act like an insane person.)

Mike Cronin
Ashley stop acting like a jackass. Here comes MTV news.
Erik
He's not acting Mike.

(Ashley smacks Erik)

Erik
Hey!

(The guys arrive at the MTV crew moments later. Sujin Pakk is standing there, prepared to interview them.)

Sujin
Hey! It's OTown!
Erik
Hey it's Sujin!

(The others laugh.)

Sujin
For a minute there I thought you guys were a punk band in those outfits.
Ashley
Yeah we were gonna come in white suits and all bloody but I'm glad we didn't. How embarrassing would that have been to come in the same thing as the guys of Mudvayne?
Sujin
Yeah that whole car accident look is really popular this year
Erik
I wanted to wear the lacy dress like Britney but the other guys said no
Sujin
You could've. Kevin  of BSB arrived not long ago in a skirt
Erik
He stole my idea!

(They all laugh)

(After another round of "Make fun of the Outfit," this time featuring Outcast and the orange and green leiderhosen, the guys make their way to their seats.)

Dan
This is cool! Look guys they have scaffolding!
Ashley
No Dan you can't climb it!
Dan
(pouting)

Jake
I wish this were over so I could go see Michael Jackson Tomorrow night.
Trev
Oh no! Michael is in town and Jacob is missing precious stalking time!
Erik
Room to talk...boy who is obsessed with Britney
Mike
Shhh...it's about to start.

(Jamie Fox comes out and the show starts. About 10 minutes later Will Ferrell runs up and jumps on the stage.)

Will
I'm raging! Where are all the good bands? Where's OTown?
Dan
We're right....

(Jake smacks him)

Jake
Shut up you jackass! It's a joke!
Dan
(pouting again)
Why couldn't I climb the scaffolding? He gets to!

(They all give Dan dirty looks and the evening continues)

(It is time for NSYNC's performance, one that doesn't really crank the guys up since everyone has seen POP 8 million times already. They barely pay attention until the words "King of Pop" are plastered across a giant Etch a Sketch and Michael Jackson dances out onto the stage.)

Jake
(in awe)
WOOOWWWW!!!!

(The other guys are in shock too. This may be why they fail to care when Jake announces he is going to the bathroom and he will be right back.)

Trev
That was awesome! Do you think we could get him to perform with us?

(Erik smacks him)

Erik
Oh yeah I'm sure...idiot! Like he even care that we exist!
Ashley
Hey maybe he knows who we are!
Dan
Yeah! A boy can dream

(Again the evening goes on...they sit through performance after performance and award after award and still no Jacob. Yet none of the appear worried. Then it is finally the end and Britney's turn to perform. Trevor is all but on top of the stage but Ashley and Erik are prepared.)

Erik
(taking out rope from his back pocket)
Trev man this is for your own good trust me!
Ashley
(takes a bandana out of his pocket and shoves it in Trev's mouth as a gag while Erik ties him to his chair) Yeah man you know you would just make a fool out of yourself and we are trying to save you. You can not jump up on the stage
Dan
Yeah cause Justin will kick your ass dude.

(So poor Trevor is tied to his chair while he watches Britney and prays to someday die and be brought back as a snake in his next life. Unfortunately the guys take out his gag too soon, just at the very end of the performance.

Trev
BBBRRRIIITTTNNNEEEYYY!!!!

(He is loud enough to be heard over the entire audience and the other guys hide him quickly when they see Justin look their way. Dan points backward to signal that it was the guy behind him...not knowing that the "guy" behind him is actually Christina Aguilera....oh well.)

(All in all it was a good night for the guys. They got out of the Met in record time and waited for their car to come around. Jacob was nowhere to be found and someone finally noticed.)

Dan
Uhhh...should we wait for Jake? Where did he go?
Ash
Nah...just let him come home when he's ready. He prob found a girl to mack on.
Trev
Yea you know Jake

(SO the guys head back to the hotel without Jake.)

(The next morning they are all gathered in the hotel restaurant eating breakfast when Mike notices that Jake is still not there.)

Dan
Oh yeah he never did come back to the room last night
Ashley
Damn wonder what happened to him?
Trev
Um? Guys i don't think we have to wait long to find out

(Trev points to the TV screen at the side of the room where Jacobs face is plastered on the screen. The news is coming across at that moment.)

Reporter
And in other news, the newest member of the boy band phenomenon, OTown is in the news this morning because of the misconduct of one of it's members. Jacob Underwood, dreadlocked member of the band was taken into custody this morning after stalking Michael Jackson from the time of his performance at the MTV VMA's last night until early this morning outside his hotel room. When asked about the stalking, Mr. Underwood only commented that he is Mr. Jackson's long lost best friend and to tell the other members of his group that he promises he was just going to the bathroom.

Damnit! Why does he always get to be the one meeting his idols!

(Other three other guys smack him.)
