Robin Gibb=RG
Johnie Walker=JW
Sally Traffic=ST

(Continued.....)

JW= And to answer a question from Hazel Brooks in Reading, eh could you please, please ask Robin Gibb when he is a guessed as to where I can obtain a copy of his recording of Ellan Vannin the Isle Of Man anthem I saw him preform this on the ITV programme An Audience With The Bee Gees
RG= That's correct, yeah, em I don't know where you would get that cause it never came out commercially  on a record it was only available on the Isle Of Man  for charity 10,000 copies where made available in the Isle Of Man and they where sold I would only suspect that you could actually only get it privately by from other people I personally wouldn't know where it would be available, sorry about that
JW= Nice little compliment at the end please give Robin Gibb our best wishes, the Bee Gees are superb performances and with there CD's you never have to fast forward any of the tracks
RG= Oh that's very nice
JW= that's interesting
RG= yeah that's very nice
JW=Cause I mean em going back to the sixties time em  albums were something that singles were a separate thing and it wasn't just a track taken from an album and some how you felt that more work was put into an album and it was more then just a collection of tracks you could listen to it all the way through
RG= Yeah I of course one thing you don't have to worry about when your making an album these days running order cause with CD's it's not really necessary unless your just keeping it playing you know you can just skip from one track to the next and so you really have that advantage as well
JW= yeah to side one and side two
RG= Yeah
JW= that's gone
RG= yeah and running orders too for the theme of the songs to run in so it emulates a lot of that
JW= And what about the family, your children getting into music?
RG= Yeah Spencer my eldest son in Austin Texas he has a group there and is into production a blues group and eh daughter is into production here in London Melissa and eh Robin John my youngest son is actually getting into music is in music he's doing recording as we speak in Miami at the moment
JW= Now you once bought your wife I heard a Jaguar that had thee number plate that spelt out druid
RG= that's correct, she still got it
JW= Is she still a druid?
RG= She's still a druid, I don't know much about druidism I mean she obvious knows a lot she's the head priestess head druid and eh it's not quite as dark as people seem to think hammer films you know druidism is
JW= I mean when you say Stonehenge and the solicit it's very early in the morning that it looks a bit sombre
RG= Yeah and sinister too but it's not  I mean she doesn't get involved in any of that she doesn't go to Stonehenge and get involved in any of those, she just it's a state of mind actually , Churchill was a druid and and eh Walt Disney  but it is a way of life it's not a ritual think or
JW= I mean do you involve yourself in any of the big questions? cause I mean I remember somebody saying to me you might know him a fellow called Michael Micafits
RG= Na, no
JW= no, well he ran a camera shop in baker street opposite Apple, and the Beatles used to get there cameras there
RG= Yes right
JW= and I remember him used to say to me, em its a bad thing not to work you know this was when the Beatles getting involved with the Mara issue
RG= Right
JW= so there all going off there heads now the problem is they've made too much money they don't have to work any more so they start doing all this esoteric nonsense, thing is you need to work, well I mean one of the luxuries of making a few bob in the music business I guess you can you know you can sit down and relax and think about things I mean are you a philosopher or a thinker?
RG= Eh I am a great thinker, em but I think that anybody whatever you do you need to get your mind together it's not really when you've got time, I do agree with thee concept of always keeping your mind active I think that's a very important thing to do and eh I think you should give your mind work to do and I believe in always working I think it's a great idea
JW= So when the misses is dancing at dawn in her rope at the bottom of the garden, your in bed doing the times crossword!
RG= am in bed asleep!
JW= laughing
RG= I dunno about the crossword!, my idea of mediation is called coma!
JW=So what are the plans for a show your doing a concert for the radio which is great
RG= Yes next Tuesday
JW= And then isn't there some big think? being organised
RG= We've doing Michael Parkinson's television show on the weekend and eh were actually concentrating on mostly promoting the album in thee US, over here and the rest of Europe, and next year we'll be doing Stadium concerts em hopefully in the summer
JW= Here in the UK?
RG= In the UK yes, and in Europe and America
JW= So Michael Parkinson he won't be rude like Clive Anderson was
RG= I hope not
JW= I kinda remember that, Maurice dealt with it quite well really
RG= Yes em
JW= Barry got the hump first
RG= I got the hump actually before Barry did, but Barry reacted before I did, but eh I was quickly, I reacted genuinely because that's the time that I felt I wanted to react and it's a miracle I didn't react earlier but um I never saw it back I never watched it and I didn't know that Maurice had actually remained on for a little bit
JW= Shame you didn't have your handbag with you, you see
RG= Yes, yeah!
JW=Grace Jones and Russell Hearty, you could have bobbed him one, should you have been able to laugh it off do you think?
RG= Well we do now you know but that was a few years ago now but you know it was just a nasty show for me, it was just unnecessary
JW= Well you and Barry has split, Maurice was still there for a bit
RG= Yeah
JW= Sort of thinking what shall I do now, shall I still here now I might as well sling it as well (laughing)
RG= Yeah (laughing)
JW= Well it won't be like that on Parky
RG= No, no, no not on Parkinson
JW= All right Robin great to see you
RG= Great to see you John
JW= All the best
RG= Thanks a lot

This Is Where I came In plays
JW= The Bee Gees and there new single title track from the new album This Is Where I Came In.
