New Years Eve Concert Review

I was lucky to catch the ABC 2000 coverage of the Bee Gees New Years Eve Millennium concert. All three brothers looked positively handsome -- as usual!

In Sydney, the ABC aired one song (well ..almost two really) . I'm not sure of the exact time, but I think it was at approximately 7pm on New Years day (Sydney time). They crossed to the opener of the Bee Gees concert with a slight fade into "You should be dancing/Alone", and faded out at the end of 'Alone'. The coverage was okay. At one point the cameraman looked like they may have almost fell off the stage. The camera wobbled and Robin looked over and smiled. All I can say is thank you to that lousy cameraman...lol...  No just kidding. Robin's mic was a little low in the beginning of Alone, and you could hear Maurice coming through clearer than usual, sounding just lovely. Barry's falsetto was in tip top shape. All three looked and sounded fabulous.

Barry sported a new look and one big shiny buckle, which according to the female fans was padlocked shut by lovely wife Linda.. haha....

Alas, I was only treated to the opener. I have been told by concert goers, that the whole show was fabulous (No surprise there) -- with that famous Gibb humour sprinkled through the magical night.

Thank you to Ann Grootjans for supplying this updated song list., which specifies which songs were in a medley.
