"Dakota!" she yelled out. Dakota stepped out from the first room. "What's up Court?" Dakota asked. "You're three o'clock canceled." Courtney sighed. "Alright. Well, then, I guess that's my day then. I'm gonna head home." Dakota replied. "I won't be here much longer either, I just need to wrap up a few things." Courtney smiled.

Dakota grabbed her bag and headed towards the door, smiling at the man who held it for her as she exited. Courtney made her way towards the front desk. It was unbelievable that she was here. She had graduated from college a few years ago, not knowing which direction life would take her. Now she was the manager of one of the best dance studios in Orlando. Dakota and her had met in college and stayed close, even when Dakota left to dance her talent across the world.

"Well, well, well… If it isn't my favorite girl in the entire world!!" he said from in front of the desk. Courtney lifted her head from the paperwork she was working through and saw a man staring at her. "Can I help you?" she asked, standing up. The stranger smiled and removed his hat and glasses.

"Oh my god! Josh!?" Courtney squealed, running to the other side of the desk. Courtney flung herself into Josh's arms. "It's nice to see you too, Court!" he said laughing. They pulled away to look at each other. Courtney couldn't stop smiling. "What are you doing here?! I mean, how did you know where I was working?" she asked. "A little voice inside my head told me…" he smiled. "Josh…" she started.
JC smiled. "I called your mom."

Courtney shook her head. She was just so glad to see him. It had been long. Too long, a year, at least.

"So… my real reason for being here, other than to see you of course, is to invite you to show." He said. "Tonight?" she asked.
"Yeah, unless you have plans…" he said. "Nothing that can't be postponed." Courtney smiled. "Good." JC smiled. "Bring a friend if you want. I'll send someone to pick you up around six." He said.
"Sounds like a plan." She smiled. "Alright. Sorry I can't chat, I gotta get to sound check." He said, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. She watched him walk out the door and smiled.

Josh was finally back in her life, even if only for a short while. Life was definitely about to get a lot more interesting.
